*Addilynn's POV*

I woke up, my back on the floor of some hotel. Everything came back to me from yesterday. I still had my clothes on, which worried me a little less and my phone was still in my pocket, but my throat was dry and my head was throbbing. I tried to gather my surroundings. I had no clue where I was. I didn't see anyone around me. I stood up slowly and quietly because if there was someone in here, I didn't want them to hear me. I figured now would be my best time to escape.

I made a break for the door, trying to unlock it. But somebody caught me. I screamed, but they covered my mouth.

"Shut up." They told me.

"Just let me go!" I screamed, trying to flail and fight.

"Don't please." He had a knife to my throat.

"I'm not going to kill you. I don't have time to be in jail." He scoffed as if he wasn't a bad person.

"You're going to help me get drugs." He replied.

"No, I'm not." Now that I knew he wasn't going to kill me, I could protest all I wanted.

"How can I help you get drugs in the first place?"

"Because a little small, successful lady won't be a high-targeted person that buys them." He told me. I wanted to get out, but he was blocking the door. I'd have to wait until he left or went to bed to try and escape. He told me the game plan, but little did he know that I'd be gone by morning.

It was currently midnight. I figured he'd be asleep by now, so I quietly made my way to the door. I took the locks off very slowly, trying to not wake him. The door creaked as I opened, causing me to tense up.

"Where do you think you're going?" I heard him ask. I didn't even bother to answer him as I made a break for the outside. I found the fire escape stairs and sprinted down them as fast as I could. I knew he was behind me.

I made it out onto the street, running as fast as I could. I didn't know where I was going but I didn't care. I had been in San Francisco a few times because AJ used to play for the Giants, but I didn't know the city that well.

My biggest fear came true. The guy, who's name I still didn't know, caught up to me and grabbed me by my throat and threw me up against a building wall in broad daylight. This guy was an idiot.

I brought my fist up to his face, wailing on him as hard as I could. His nose was bloody and my hand was purple. He wasn't going down without a fight, though. His grip on my neck tighten as he drug me around a corner. I was gasping at this point because I was trying not to pass out, but just like the first time, it didn't work and I slowly faded into the black.

*Alex's POV*

"Hello?" I answered the phone. A local hospital was calling.

"Mr. Wood?" A male nurse asked me.

"Yes?" I replied.

"Your girlfriend, Addilynn, was brought in about fifteen minutes ago and we understand that she was the one missing. You can come down now and see her if you'd like." He told me. I breathed a sigh of relief.

"Yes sir, thank you." I hung up, then ran out of my hotel room and towards AJ's room.

"AJ!" I knocked loudly on the door. I knew it was only seven o'clock, but I was sure he was awake. He probably never went to sleep, honestly.

"What's going on, Woody?" He opened the door. He looked dead, his facial hair was growing, and his hair wasn't its normal spiked up.

"Addilynn's at the hospital! And she's okay!" I smiled, throwing my arms around.

"Then what are you waiting for? Let's go!" He said excitedly.
