Inches away to leaving the room, Mitch glanced over to the three, only them left in the classroom. She sees Rune unzipping the teeth of the small section of his raven bag, probably reaching for his wallet.

Before he approached Luna and Remon who were waiting for him at the classroom's exit door, also carrying their wallets, Mitch turned to leave.

Bifold and olive drab? Stitched with a rose stem art too. Hmm...

She pondered next to Luna's choice, recalling that hers was a wristlet.

No difference with Luns', just jet-black with golden moon phases.

In contrast to the two, she knows fully well that Remon's was an amber snap wallet complemented with a symbol of a sun on a stem and a text underneath stating Geoheart.

"Oi, Mitch," called Rune. "Sit with us in the cafeteria-it's 'grim' talk."

That again? He says 'grim talk' when he's referring to the Boreal Assault from a few days ago...

"Also, hate to bring this up, you three, but you know the rules of our friend group..." Luna followed, her voice fading in the end, implying something significant.

"Group Grade Grading," said Mitch, Rune, and Remon, a hint of disappointment in the tones in one of them as their bright mood gradually dulled.

I hate that thing, but at least they can't hide theirs too.

In a two-story grandiose cafe, adopting an industrial modern style of soft lighting, warm tones on the wooden floorboards, and dark painted accents and vice versa, Mitch laid her face flat on the quality table.

"I am so done." Mitch said, her voice sounding like her breath was physically taken away.

I don't understand how the school expects us to complete five to six tasks and three projects per week...!

And some teachers are even worse at teaching than I do in badminton!

"'I am so done' indeed, stripes. You failed Arcana, Dynamis, English, and Mathematics again." Remon reiterated, sympathizing with the universal emotion of questioning their academic efforts.

"Don't be like Luna, please. She's linguistically gifted but mathematically cursed."

"Not. Another. Word. About the subjects," declared Mitch with her pointer finger raised in the air with haste. "I'll have to hide them again..."

Rune and Remon exchanged similar looks of concern. They understood all too well the weight of Mitch's academic struggles, unable to face the results. Their worried eyes watched her slowly lift her head from the cold surface of the table, revealing a tired, vulnerable expression.
