It was a random Saturday night when Y/n was in her computer chair spinning around. She wanted to play a video game - a video game she's never played before.

Looking up video game genres, she couldn't find one she's never played before. First person shooters, murder mysteries, platform games... she read through the list in her head.

Before giving up and going to bed, your eyes landed on the words "Simulator games." The first thing that came to your mind was "Yandere Simulator" but you've played that before.

You went to the Google search engine and searched up "Simulator games" just to see what would come up.

The first thing to pop up on your screen was different dating simulator games. You furrowed your eyebrows at the sight. "I forgot about that..." you thought aloud.

As you scroll through the options of dating simulator games that you could possibly buy and play, you cringed at some of the covers and names.

"No... no... absolutely fucking not. Damn, why do all of these look like they suck ass." You mumbled to yourself as you kept scrolling.

"Wait... is that...?" Pausing in your place, you go back and reread the title, "Kimetsu Academy High School".

"Demon slayer?" You said in bewilderment, "why would Demon Slayer have a dating simulator out of all anime's?" You raised your eyebrow in confusion.

Demon Slayer was your favorite anime and you thought there's was only one video game based off it and if there was another you would already be aware of it's existence.

The website you could download the game from was something you never heard of. It was kinda sketchy, but you really didn't care.

"Oh, it's free too." A smile formed on your face because you liked the idea of having to spend your money. You clicked the blue "download" button and the game started to load.

Once the loading was complete, you saw the pink title screen decorated with cherry blossoms, hearts, and a few characters from the show.

The options on the screen where:

Before starting the actual game, you clicked "characters" just to see what was in store for you, despite knowing everything about everyone.

You read the characters quotes and descriptions and noticed something... off. Everything was pretty normal, but something about the characters quotes was a little weird.

The descriptions were also pretty normal and accurate to their cannon selves, but Muichiro's last sentence saying that he knew "everything about you" creeped you out.

Your eyes widened as you read but you ignored the big, bright, in-your-face, red flags. "Most of them seem like some super creepy Yandere's." You laughed to yourself as you exited the Characters page and the game brought you back to the title screen.

You clicked the "start new game" option and then chose save file one. The game started from first person's point of view in, I'm guessing, your bedroom.

The game had a small welcome message before letting you design your characters avatar.

You looked at the female default character who had zero resemblance to yourself for a few moments before taking your sweet precious time to design her.

The finishing product looked just like you but if you were a Demon Slayer character wearing the green Kimetsu Academy uniform.

Walking out the door of your house, the game goes into a cutscene of you walking to school and entering the school gates.

"What time is it...?" You ask yourself as you open your phone. "3:47 am!?" You shouted then covered your mouth. That was loud... you thought. You had only started playing at around 11 or 12...

"I think I should go to bed now..." you looked at your computer screen for a short moment.

Your avatar was sitting in your home room class as Tanjiro Zenitsu and Inoskue walked in.

You sighed and moved your mouse around the screen, trying to find an "exit game" button or something of the sort. "Ugh, I can't save it until I've finished the prologue!?" You complained. "Whatever, I'll do it later."

You huffed then turned the power off on your computer then collapsed on your bed. You started blankly at the ceiling before actually falling asleep.

Your computer was off for a few minutes until suddenly turning back on.

That's odd.

The game's loading screen shone on the screen but it looked different this time. The words "loading" glitched and the bar moved super slowly like your internet was trash or something.

Once it reached 100％ it showed the game's normal title screen.

Did you just download a virus?
