The Angel's Daughter

Chapter One

On a sunny day in Brooklyn, Clary Fray is waiting to be called to see if she gets into the Brooklyn academy of art. Suddenly she enters a café where her 'sister' Eris and best friend Simon are enjoying their conversation.

"Hey Simon. I got into the program." Clary said to Simon while ignoring Eris' existence. Noticing that she ignored Eris, Simon gets up and leaves a shocked Clary behind.

"You didn't have to do that Simon. You could have stayed with Clarissa." Eris told Simon on the way to his apartment that she helped him buy.

"I don't like her so why would I stay just so that she could complain about you to me when you haven't done anything wrong or for her to complain about, hell you don't even talk to her." Simon replied.

Simon and Eris enter the apartment and start playing games together until Luke finishes work at the police station so that Eris can go back and not get moaned at by Jocelyn and Clary.

At 5pm Luke arrives home, five minutes later Eris walks in. Jocelyn walks up to Eris yelling
"What do you think you were doing what if Clary had gotten hurt because you decided to leave her alone to go be a useless whore?"

Eris looks at Jocelyn before walking away not saying anything to her or Clary,as saying anything to either of them would be a waste of air.

The next day, the sun was shining brightly again, it was then Eris was awoken by a knocking on her door. It opened to reveal Luke who reminded her that today was Clary's 18th birthday and that when she went to the club later to celebrate Jocelyn would expect her to go to.

Before Eris could escape the apartment she was cornered by Jocelyn and Clary.

"If you don't go to the club to protect Clary tonight then I will call the police and have you arrested for assault." Jocelyn yelled at her.

Later that day, Eris went with Clary to a club called pandemonium. Clary ended up making a situation worse for a small group of shadowhunters who were working at the club and then she ran away screaming the whole way back to the apartment.

When at the apartment it is revealed that Jocelyn was taken then Clary is attacked by a demon who bit Eris as she pushed Clary out of the way. One of the guy's from pandemonium appears and catches Eris as she passes out from her injury.
