"Dishes are done, boys" Emma said crossing her arms as we stand in the circle
"Hey, has anyone seen Ryan?" Kaitlyn said looking around
"Oh yeah. He's probably off being all brooding and mysterious and alluring somewhere" Dylan said and from behind him Ryan appeared
"Im here" He said with his phone in one hand
"What were you doing under there? Having a little 'me party'? " Kaitlyn said and i chuckled
"Uh... I was listening to a podcast actually" He said. Well i always thought that Kaitlyn had a crush on Ryan but is it true?
"Oh podcast, nice. That's cool" Dylan said with his usual smile
"What's it about?" i asked, honestly i really like listening to Podcasts on my free time, maybe when i will get my phone back i will get the chance to listen to one
"Yeah what's it about? Is it about me?" Dylan said which made Ryan confused
"You think I was listening to a podcast... about you?" Ryan asked and Dylan just smiled even wider
"Okay, if anyone here had a podcast about them, it'd be me." Kaitlyn said looking between Ryan and Dylan
"I could listen to that podcast all day" i said receiving a smirk and a wink from Kaitlyn
"Yeah if there was a podcast called "How to Look and Smell Like a Butt"" Dylan said and made me laugh.
"Oh My God. You are so childish" Kaitlyn said laughing a bit
"At least I don't look and smell like a butt..." I made eye contact with him but looked away
"No, it's- it's a... paranormal podcast. This episode was actually about this place, weirdly enough. The Hag of Hackett's Quarry." okay im prepared for the ride
"The who of the whatsit where now? What's the Hag of Hackett's Quarry?" There is no way Kaitlyn doesn't know about The Hag of Hackett's Quarry
"You don't know about the Hag of Hackett's Quarry?" Me and Dylan said in sync, we looked at each other and smiled
"Uh, if I did would I be asking, dumbass?"
"Tell her about the Hag of Hackett's Quarry!" Dylan said excited for Kaitlyn ti freak out
"I don't think she wants to know about the Hag of Hackett's Quarry" Ryan exclaimed
"Can we please just stop saying "The Hag of Hackett's Quarry." now annoyed Kaitlyn said
"It's just this campfire story for the kids. It's um... There's supposedly an old woman who died in a fire a few years back. She haunts the woods looking for her lost baby boy. There are like reports of whispers, or whatever, and this figure that floats around... You know, textbook ghost stuff. Some people say that if she catches you alone, she'll try to turn you into her son... or kill you or something, I dunno... It's never really been clear. Anyways. Hag of Hackett's Quarry."
Ryan said the story and Kaitlyn looks kinda scared?
"Y-You made that up." sounds made up but real Kaitlyn
"It's right here in the podcast, man." Ryan showed the podcast to Kaitlyn so she would believe him
"Cool story bro" Jacob said laughing a bit
"Oh yeah? Got a cooler one?" Dylan protective mode is on, i wonder if he would protect me like that
"Ah no... I wasn't being sarcastic" Jacob said protecting him self. Well Jacob he sometimes looks like he dislikes Ryan. I don't know if he does i never asked him that
"I didn't really tell it right..." Ryan told us.
"Look, no no. Seriously dude, I think that it just, it came out wrong..." Jacob just kiss him already. Wait what im thinking, fuck
"Seriously though - you should've seen the first time he told the story to the kids at the campfire. They were scarred for life." Dylan said which somehow made Ryan freak out?
"I mean, not for life..." i hope they aren't traumatised
"You gotta be careful with this stuff man. That shit's true."Dylan said, i agree with Kaitlyn, he is childish
"C'mon- Dude, bullshit!" Jacob said throwing his hands in the air
"What's the hold up, Hacketteers?" Mr.Hackett said from the up
"Heya- Yeah- uh, nearly done, Mr. H!" Jacob responded. God i wanna leave this place right now
"Hop to it! Get those butts in gear!" Mr.H said taking one sip of his coffee
"Sorry Mr. H! we had to liberate some luggage." Emma said in whisper the last sentence but loud enough for Abigail ti hear
"Shut up!" Abi shutted emma up
"Maybe if somebody didn't spend so much time trying to impress the ladies with all his ghost stories..." Kaitlyn said and Ryan turned to her
"You asked!" He said-shouted
"Ghost stories?" Mr.H asked. Maybe he knows something
"The Hag of Hackett's Quarry" I replied
"Ugh!" Kaitlyn sighed
"Ah." That's the only thing Mr.H did like if he didn't care at all
"Hey, you still have the van key, Mr. H?" Kaitlyn asked, i hope we can just get out of here
"Why, yes i do!" He checks his pockets and realizes they aren't there.
"You know, I'd lose my head if it wasn't stuck on! Back to the office I go... Give me a hand, would ya Ryan?"
