The messages read:

- Delia only open this when you are 100% sure no one is watching you. Considering my letter didn't go through I'm texting you the entire ordeal here. Be sure to delete it when you're done. Micheal used to attend that school. Until one night. They were having a party in a room in the basement. Everything was running smoothly until the next morning a dead body, specifically Leon Hoffman, was found in that room.

- A police investigation was carried out but everyone who was interrogated denied any involvement. Since Leon was a part of Micheal's group, they decided to take matters into their own hands. But they weren't prepared for the secrets of Mikaelson that they were soon to dig up.

- An underground ring of some sort was uncovered. It was run by the richest students there, they'd indulge in all kinds of illegalities and misconduct, especially gambling, right under the noses of the other students who weren't involved. It was said that Leon was murdered in cold blood after trying to out them, he had regretted all the things he'd done. People thought Michael and his group were also involved considering their close friendship with Leon, so they were expelled as a result. The members of the group were also expelled and so the ring was disbanded. They didn't get any serious jail time due to their very wealthy families, who also happened to be benefactors to Timothy Mikaelson.

- I'd call it a coincidence, and I have no idea if this has to do with Lilian or not, so be careful, extremely careful.

- Also Michael said he couldn't remember where exactly the ring carried out their activities but the entrance and passage was somewhere in the dormitory.

- Please stay safe cuz xx.

Before I could process the message someone walked into the common room. Neo instinctively put his hand over my phone as a fellow classmate gave us a judgmental look. I glanced over at him and he gestured for me to leave. He had read the message, so I needed to speak to him about it later.

Back in my room, I was met by Thalia lying on her back with kiana ledé playing in the background. I would ask her why she was in a bad mood later, as I was still in shock. I immediately sat next to her and showed her the text. I checked the time to make sure the cameras weren't on yet. She gasped as well, rereading the messages a couple of times.

"So basically this isn't the first time. This school had some sort of underground ring? But why would Lilian be dead if it was really disbanded?" She whispered. "Are you suggesting it's still around?" I questioned and she shrugged. "Well...some pieces of this puzzle are missing, what if someone revived it...and Lilian got caught up in it due to Oliver, maybe that was the 'mess'" she used finger quotations. I agreed and suggested we'd continue this conversation with Macy tomorrow.

"By the way...you don't seem to be in a good mood?" I asked cautiously. I wasn't the best at dealing with other's emotions but I tried my best. "Hmm, well for starters I haven't spoken to Azriel since that day in the headmistress' office." She began. I gestured for her to continue. "It's just, we've always promised to be transparent with each other. We were friends before anything else. I feel like he's been hiding stuff from me. Which makes me feel like shit considering I've always been honest with him. Maybe I'm reading too much into it" she finished.

I pondered on her words for a bit. This was obviously a sensitive topic. "Well if that's how you're feeling it's okay to take a break and re-evaluate things. You should talk to him about it at some point though. If you think he's not being one hundred with you, it's best to express that to him, no matter the outcome. Not all promises are kept" I responded.

It was clear that Thalia wanted to be a trustworthy person to him and Vice-versa. But considering the dynamics of their friends with benefits agreement, they were in rocky waters. I assumed she wanted a serious relationship with Azriel, but something was definitely holding her back.
