After you kissed Rang, a hope that you still love him sparked in him. On the other hand your head was messed up.
'Why the fuck did i kissed? WHYYY? now he will get his hopes high that i like him. I'm such a stupid bitch.' You pulled your hairs but stopped when you felt your heart drop. It happens when something is about to happen.

'Jiah...Yeon....fu-' You immediately ran to find them but they nowhere to be seen. Not even a single person. You suddenly heard Jiah's scream. Without thinking anything you teleported there and saw Yeon talking to Jiah but something felt wrong.

Before you knew Jiah was holding Yeon's neck. You ran them and called Jiah frimly "Jiah!" She looked at you and then at Yeon confused. You were going to ask her question but Yeon suddenly threw a rock behind him.

"Run.." You whispered to Jiah but before she could some pieces of rock came flying towards her but you putted a invisible barrier on her so that rocks won't hit her. "Go!" She nodded and ran inside the jungle and you turned to see Rang and Yeon fighting.

Rang was about hit a blow on Yeon but you stepped in and held his hand thew him back and he crashed in a tree. "Go after Jiah.. she is in danger. I will handle him." You said to Yeon and launched toward Rang without listening to Yeon's answer.

You punched Rang but he rolled beside making you fist met with tree's trunck. Your punch almost broke the tree. "I told you to stay away from her. But you just won't listen. Would you?" You were continuously throwing punchs and kicks in his direction and he dodged it. You summon your sword and now you ready to slice his throat but stopped.
"Go away.....never show me your face again....You're only making things hard for us...You're useless....you always were..." these words left your mouth like arrows and peirced Rang's heart.

"That kiss? Was it nothing for you?" He asked with a heavy heart. "I was drunk...it doesn't mean anything to me and you should also not feel anything too." You looked dead in his eyes before lowering your sword and teleporting.

Yn pov

Lie..i lied...i can't tell him that i love him. It will make things more complicated than they are right now.

I wasn't drunk. Fuck I don't even drink. It's for his sake. It's for his sake Yn... you should not feel guilty. It's okay.

Author pov

You continued console yourelf that it was for Rang's sake while searching for Jiah. But when you didn't find them you decided to go back.

You didn't think about it that much because Yeon was with Jiah and he would protect her with his life.

You stand on the sea shore, lost in your thoughts. Guilt eating you up. You couldn't do anything else then feeling guilty, could you?

You couldn't hand over your best friend, Yeon's lost love to Death. You couldn't. You shouldn't. You would never ever do that.

"WHY MEE!!" You shouted at the sea with all your will before falling on your knees on the sand.

From a distance, Rang was watching you. Screaming, crying. As much as it pained him to see you like this he couldn't do anything. Afterall you didn't want to see his face.

He know that you lied. He knew you more than you knew yourself. He also knew you're are confused. What to do? Whom to choose? Love or best friend?

"It's okay...like you always watch me from a far in your past life...i will do it in your this life..."
