"I'm waiting for it, that greenlight, I want it."

-Lorde, Greenlight

"Thank you for coming out, Los Angelos! I love you so much!" You waved at the screaming stadium as you walk to the side of the stage to go back to your dressing room. This was the last concert of your tour, after a long three months, it was finally over.

You walk into your dressing room kicking off your heels sending them in different directions. You sit down in your chair sighing in relief to finally be out of those annoying shoes.

"Of course it made my outfit really pop and the fans loved them, but my feet are sore as hell," you whined as you rubbed your feet. You heard the door open and looked up, seeing your best friend and partner in crime.

"You looked hot as hell girl, I gotta say," Akali said coming in with ice cold water bottles for you to cool off and unwind. You owe all of your success to Akali. She pushed you to try out for a company after years of going back and forth, you knew she was right, so you sucked it up, wrote a song, and presented it to your current label company.

You smiled at her and took a bottle from her hands, "Thank you, lovely. How was the show from the front row?" You opened the bottle and took a swig.

"Oh my god, it was so good! I was terrified of the fireworks hitting us, but nonetheless, it was an experience I was glad to see," she said spinning in a chair opposite from you. She had a sad look on her face as she played with the hem of her skirt.

"You okay, Kali? You see upset," you look at her and she gives you a smile.

"It's fine, I was just thinking about how sad I am that Heartsteel hasn't released their new album. They've been teasing it forever at this point and I'm confused."

Ah yes, Heartsteel. One of the biggest boybands in the world at the moment. Akali loves them and has the biggest crush on Kayn, she never shuts up about him. Even if she has never met them in her life.

"Well I wouldn't know anything about them personally. I've never met them and I don't think I ever will. We do our own things, y'know?" You said pulling all of the pins out of your hair, setting them down on the vanity. Not only do your feet ache, but your hair and head aches after all of the trauma of the pins being stuck in you like a voodoo doll.

"It's weird being the best friend of a big celebrity. Remember how we used to talk about boy groups together fangirling over them, and now like, you're apart of that world. And technically speaking," she holds one finger up for emphasis, "I am also apart of that world because I'm you best friend and manager."

You laugh at her goofy remarks, "You are not my manager, but I'll let you say that all you want as long as it makes you happy, bestie."

"Oh it so does make me happy. If I give myself an important role, maybe I'll be able to meet Kayn. He'll notice me, we'll instantly fall in love, get married in a huge chapel near the beach, have 6 kids and grow old for the rest of our lives."

You just stare at her wide eyed, slowly nodding your head. "If that's what makes you happy, Kali."

She puffs her cheeks out, "I shouldn't have said that out loud. That makes me sound like Zoe. Remember how obsessed she was with Ezreal? She created a creepy ass shrine for him in her locker, that was nuts."
