1st diary entry (5):

April 7, 1757

Me and my mother have just finished my daily riting lesson, mother says age 8 is the time to learn as much vocabulary as you can for a princess. She did not get to learn a lot of things before she married my father, but she is a stupendous riter. She just taugt me that word, Stupendous! Marhaus seems to be sick, and she is just a baby, and I can not let anything happen to my dearest sister. Mother will not tell me anything but she nows I must know. Of course, Marhaus will be fine, fit enough to be a royal baby I supose.

Although there are numerous spelling mistakes, they'll pass, it still understandable to say the least. Plus, the point is to see any inconsistencies in writing, or behavior within said manuscripts, so they must be written exactly how they were found.

Ilsa seems like a kind young girl, and really cares for her sister. So, it's hard to imagine something could've gone terribly wrong. Well, I guess the note didn't really say that. It sort of said mysterious or weird, and she is a princess as well! I think I'm crossing Ilsa getting brutally murdered off my list of potential discoveries. Great, so I guess I just have to go through this now...

Ilsa Crescentia seemed like a pleasant girl (which I've already mentioned) who cared for her sister. She seemed to have a nice relationship with her mother, relishing in her time spent learning to write and complimenting her mother's exceptional writing skills. Ilsa only seemed to mention her father once, but that doesn't really say anything about their relationship since it said, "... She did not get to learn a lot of things when she married my father." So, I'm going to put it down that she did not have any family problems, for now.

Before I sign off, I am just going to mention if my boss is reading this -Hey there! Sorry for not doing this last night, I was doing... babysitting, for my neighbor's dog. Oh, whatever. That was a lame excuse. Listen, when you are faced between the options of nachos, a brand-new couch, and a 65-inch TV or work, which one would you choose. Oh damn, forgot, you're a workaholic, that might not work. But you will understand right? Right?? Maybe I should have made this into a personalized letter because this is a work file and jeez am I really bad at staying on track.

Ok, well I feel childish continuing this log so I'm going to end it here. There isn't much more information from that 1st entry (no. 5), so I think it was just setting up some background before I into this.

NOTE: I looked it up and Ilsa's baby sister's name, Marhaus, and apparently it means "famous house" in German, perhaps, a castle? I don't know if this will come in handy, but I thought I might note it down, I'll look into Ilsa's name tomorrow.
