As I sat alone in the quiet confines of the media center, script in hand, I couldn't escape the impending challenge of the kiss scene. The weight of that moment lingered in my thoughts, and I found myself lost in contemplation about how to approach it.

With my headphones on, I delved into the lines, reading and rereading the script. How could I make it convincing without letting the awkwardness and unspoken history overshadow the performance?

Unbeknownst to me, Jamal and Stephanie lurked in the shadows, their devious minds concocting a plan to exploit the situation. Stephanie, having witnessed the near-kiss at her party, saw an opportunity to sow discord between Alex and me.

Jamal, his mind brewing with mischief, tossed around various ridiculous ideas until one seemingly darker concept sparked his interest. "What if we make a video?" he suggested, a sinister grin playing on his face.

Stephanie raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "A video?'

Jamal leaned in, sharing his devious plan. "We record Alex saying nasty shit  about Gia, full on talking shit making out with other girls and only acting like that  for the musical but he doesn't like her at.all than We release it strategically, and boom no more of they're relationship and we win."

Stephanie contemplated the idea, a malicious smile mirroring Jamal's. " you finally got a plan that can work Gia may be winning the battle but I'm going to win the war"

As they continued plotting in hushed tones, I haven't noticed a thing still listening to my music The bell echoed through the crowded hallways, signaling the end of another mundane class. As I strolled to my next destination, the familiar faces of my friends appeared. Mavis, Karan, and Alex, the usual suspects, joined me on the path to lunch.

"So are we still movie night at your place, Gia?" Mavis inquired, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

I nodded, "Yeah, if you guys are up for it. But let's avoid any snooze-fest movies this time."

Karan, ever the critic, chimed in, "Especially those predictable romantic ones. Boring."

Mavis took this in offense, "Excuse me? I picked the last time , and it was great!"
