I wake up with a smile and a sudden burst of excitement. I shake Gus up wanting him to get ready, a few minutes later he is out of bed. I change in a pair of shorts and tee, I walk into the kitchen grabbing myself breakfast. As i sit at the table eating my cereal, I see Gus slowly walk towards me.

"You ready for today, Gus?"

Gus just smiles and nods while walking past me also grabbing a bowel for some cereal. About 20 minutes later after eating breakfast I hear Lyle yell out.

"Come on boys, were going to grab the console!"

Me and Gus put our dishes in the sink and rush out the house. I scooch in the back.

"Morning mum" I say hopping in the van.

"Morning Eli, how'd you sleep?" Mum replied.

"Yeah alright, i was too excited for today!"
mum just chuckles as Lyle was the last to enter the car and off, we go.

we stroll down a street with nice, rich houses. Until we stop at a very big white house. We all hop out the car, walking up the stairs. We all stand next to each other as the door opens, revealing a well-dressed woman.

"Hi, we come about the Atari." Lyle spoke up.

"Came." Mum correcting him.

"Ah about the Atar games console."  Lyle continued.

"Yes, yes" The lady said. 

"My husband hooked it up to the tv so that you see that it works. "She says.

"Maybe just one-" The lady started before being interrupted.

"- oh yeah, we'll wait outside won't we." Mum nudged me.

"Well, um. I Don't know how to play the thing, perhaps you children might know how to play it." Lyle convinced mum.

"Well then we best go in. Hey, boys?" Lyle says.

" yeah" I say before i lead Gus and Lyle inside the lady's home. AS soon as me and Gus see the console, we run to it with pure happiness.

"we'll take it, here's $50" Lyle handed a fifty dollar note.

"Oh, the advert did say a hundred." She says worried.

Me and Gus look up at Lyle and the lady, our hearts broken because we might not be able to take the console. Lyle keeps looking inside the pockets of his pants.

"Oh! look a fiver" Lyle says looking back at the women hoping she'd approve.

"Hang on- what have you boys have? empty your pockets." Lyle declared trying to have a go at looking in our pockets.

me and Gus started desperately searching our pockets finding two more extra dollars. looking back up to the lady.

"What else boys?" Lyle says.

"Oh, go on." The lady says, having enough of our poor asses.

"Yay!" I chuckle knowing we have a console.

"Good on you, love." Lyle says handing the lady the $57 dollars.

Me and Gus pack up the console ready to head back home, excited to play with it.
