8 : JEALOUSY?

Avyaan's Pov

We had our lunch and then i remembered about the meeting with Singhania's. So i called dad to get the details about the meeting when Nidhi went to washroom. Dad answered the call and before i can answer him i heard her voice from behind.

I didn't know that she will be there because she have not joined office till now that's why when my parents told me to go for date instead of meeting i agreed but if i knew she will be there i wouldn't have came to date.

"Hello Avyaan are you there?" Dad spoke and i came to my senses.

"Yes yes dad."

"Why did you called? How's your date going?" Dad asked

"Um dad how did meeting went?"

"Good. We have signed the deal don't worry. You should enjoy the date." Dad said and was about to cut the call but i stopped him.

"Dad Dad where are you meeting should have ended 1 hour ago where are you? I asked

"Tu mera baap h yaa mein tera." Dad said

"Dad obviously you . I was asking that because voices are coming from behind."

"Oh that actually after ending the meeting me and mr. Singhania decided to have lunch together so he also invited his daughter to join us."
Dad said

"Oh where are you? Actually i want to discuss something important to them that's why i am coming." I lied

"Avyaan enjoy your date. Tell me your doubt I'll discuss it with them." Dad said

"No dad actually my date ended now i am free that's why." I pleaded

What the fuck i pleaded! What's happening?

"Avya-" dad again said but i cut him

"Dad send me the address I'm coming okay" i said sternly and cut the call after few minutes he send me the location. Smirk made it's way on my lips i knew it he will send me .

As nidhi came i told her that I'm going to dad.

"But i thought we'll spend some more time can you please stay avyaan." She said coming a little closer to me.

"Nidhi please it's business related I can't take you there." I said stepping back.

"But i heard meeting ended and now it's lunch only can i please join you i really want to meet uncle please avyaan." She said but i again denied after lot of pleadings i decided to take her with me.

I am not getting a good feeling . I think this will end up in a mess. I know i am making mistake taking her with me because she is there and I don't want her to have wrong idea about us. But it will also not affect her because she has moved on from me.

I reached the restaurant and headed towards the cabin where my dad is.
This restaurant is mainly famous for business meetings as it has cabins for dining as it gives privacy people from business world prefer it.

I entered the cabin all the eyes turned towards us and I don't know what happened nidhi stumbled and was going to fall but i caught her by holding her elbow.

I immediately left her after making her stand properly and i started searching for the person for whom i came here. As my eyes locked with her's I could feel the anger in her eyes may be she was not happy seeing me here. Her eyes were red did she cried?

"Nidhi?" Dad said getting up from his seat.

"Uncle hello! How are you?" Nidhi said hugging dad.

My parents are of kind nature and due to this they love everyone and same comes from the other side. That's why they are very close to her.

"I'm fine but how are you two toget-" dad stopped mid way understanding that it was none other than her who was my blind date.

"I must appreciate my wife's choice." Dad said eyeing between me and nidhi.

"Hello Mr Singhania." I greeted her father uncle and brother.

"Hello ms. Singhania" i said forwarding my hand.

"Hello" she just touched my hand and not even made the eye contact. I don't know why this hurted me.

"Hello aradhya" nidhi came and hugged aradhya.

WTF! How do they know each other . I never told nidhi about my girlfriend then how she knows her.

"Hello nidhi" aradhy said hugging her but with a forced smile.

"Aradhya , Nidhi how do you know each other?" Dad asked

"Um actually uncle we met in new york through common friends in many parties." Nidhi replied

"Oh that's nice please you both join us we just ordered dessert for us what you guys like to have?" Ayush , Aradhya's brother asked.

"No no it's fine i just came here to meet uncle and by destiny also met aradhya it's been long time. Now i think i should leave." Nidhi said

"No no beta please i insist you should join us." Aradhya's father said.

"Uncle don't say please I'll join." Nidhi said .

I sat near aradhya and nidhi sat beside me. I was sitting between them and i was not able to take my eyes off from aradhya and somewhere i could feel nidhi's gaze on me but i ignored because i have more important thing to take care of.

"How you guys came together here?" Ayush asked.

Before me or nidhi could explain dad replied

"Didn't i told you that he is on a date . Nidhi was his date."

Everyone had a small smile except me and aradhya.

"I think mr. Raghunanda you should make arrangements for you son's wedding hm don't forget to invite us." Aradhya's chachu said and i could see aradhya feesting her hands but why is she angry? Is it because she is jealous? But why would she? May be she is not liking my presence.

"Avyaan discuss whatever you want with them as you came here for that only na?" Dad said and i don't know why i felt teasing in his tone but i shrugged it off.

I opened my mouth but i couldn't speak anything because i don't have anything to discuss it was just an excuse to come here and see her.

She didn't even looked at me once i really want my old aradhya back but i know I can't get her back.

Everyone's gaze was at me as they were waiting for me to discuss something and i couldn't think of any excuse just then Aradhya's phone rang and she said that she is leaving as her friend came to pick her up.

She is bidding bye and u really don't want her to leave so when she exits the cabin i deliberately spill the sauce kept on the table and excuse myself for washroom and follow her.

She went outside in the parking it was quite place and nobody was there.

Oh so ayesha came to pick her up. Yes we know each other as they are childhood best friends . But why aradhya is crying hugging her? And ayesha is also feeling tensed? I am at distance so they can't see me and i am aslo not able to hear them.

So i go near them and hide behind a car to listen what are the talking about that made My radhi cry.

"Aradhya calm down please" ayesha said consoling her.

"Aradhya what happened? Please tell me?" She added

"Avy...Avyaa.... Avyaan" Aradhya said hicupping. Her whole face is red because of crying but why us she taking my name i didn't do anything.

"What he did?" Ayesha said her anger evident.

"He went on a date with a girl" aradhya said.

But why does it matter to her .

"Aru just get over him. Its been 5 years please don't torture yourself for him please." Ayesha said in a calm voice.

"No i can't ayesha you know na i still love him and I can't move on from him."

And i froze !
