Anemone and Anise, Cecilia quickly ran to the store, it was late and each passing second is precious if she wanted to end the time loop today. As soon as she arrived she swiftly boiled the Anemone and Anise together as the recipe said and let it steep, meanwhile, she ground herbs and flowers, as the recipe calls forth 32 herbs and flowers, the intricacies of the recipe were clear. This might be above Cecilia's level but h*ck she doesn't have time to doubt her abilities. She looked at the clock, 22:00, she still had time, Cecilia sighed in relief and focused once more on her potion, after making sure everything had been mixed well she looked around her surroundings, no one passed by the store anymore besides a couple of on-duty soldiers with spears on their hand and armored in light silver that made a clink every time they move. Cecilia closes her eyes and bring the vial to her mouth before gulping its contents in one go.
Nothing, nothing happened, Cecilia opened her eyes to see that she was still in the store and nothing changed, not a burn in her throat or an unexpected customer, but to be fair, she didn't notice she was in a time loop so could it be that she wouldn't notice when the time loop ends? But according to the book there was supposed to be a sensation, she should –as the book says– feel the stars align, but the only thing aligned is her desire to be angry, she had enough of this time loop, the goddess didn't do anything, she has been stuck for over a year in this time loop, in this forsaken dimension, and she prayed every day, every day. She had enough. She closed the door with a slam and locked it before stomping angrily to her home, gaining weird stares from the few people who were still out at this hour. Maybe the Anise failed after all.
Cecilia jumped onto her bed after switching to her nightgown, her eyes staring at the ceiling, she sighed again, she had done everything, finding the Anemone, finding a replacement for the Anise Stars, and ground and boiling dozens of herbs and flowers, but she still failed. The Clock strikes 00:00, it is time to repeat the day again but instead, she felt something, a sensation she had never felt before.
Her body pulsed as she saw herself like literally saw herself as her soul was strained away from her body, leaving an empty shell, She was pulled into space, leaving her body behind, surrounded by stars and galaxies, and they all spun around her blinking their light like glitter in the night sky and they spoke to her, words as ancient as time, 'Child' the universe breath, 'Maiden' the stars twinkled, and 'Destined'.
The stars say destinies can't change, but stars know no wind.
