You feel soft blankets enveloping you, and gentle sunlight filtering through the curtains. Suddenly, there's a gentle patter of footsteps approaching, and you hear your mother calling out cheerfully.

The language you hear is strange, with unfamiliar cadences and rhythms, yet strangely reminiscent of modern Greek. You can't put your finger on it. Luckily, you could still make out what she is speaking.
