12: Shippy Moments

"I can't believe they spied on us.." Armin muttered.
~A few weeks later~
"So (Name), what's it like dating Armin?" Christa asked excitedly.
(Name) blushed and looked at her friend who was currently looking at her with adorable eyes.
"It's n-nice I.. I guess, he's really sweet, a-nd I, I like him a lot.." (Name) stuttered, not liking the situation she was currently in.
Christa looked at her with dreamy eyes.
"Ohh that sounds so romantic!" She sighed.
"I wish I was dating someone I like too!"
(Name) put her hand on Christa's shoulder.
"It will happen. Honestly though, it's a bit difficult... But I enjoy it." (Name) said, smiling.
Christa giggled but then Hanji came into the room and started the lesson.
"Alright class today we will be learning about the sun. It is big, very big, and is hot. The sun is the reason we can live on earth. Now, can anyone tell me what colour the sun is?" Hanji asked. Armin, as usual, had his hand raised, but Marco and Thomas had their hands raised too.

"Thomas!"

"Yellow...?" He said, sounding pretty unsure. And since pretty much nobody knew if the answer was wrong, the classroom was filled with a confused silence. (Name) looked at Armin, knowing that he knew the right answer and would probably tell them soon. Hanji shook her head. Armin raised his hand even more, wanting to say the right answer. Hanji smiled at him.

"Armin?"

"The sun is white. It may look yellow, and orange and red, but it's actually white." Armin said. Everyone stared at him in disbelief.

~Time skip to when class is over~

"He's such a teacher's pet! God! He's showing off all the time. Ugh, he's so annoying!" Mina said in her usual bitchy voice, saying it loud enough so Armin would hear it. He froze.
"Mina that's not very nice!" Marco said, making Mina frown.
"But Marco baby it's true!" She said in a sickly sweet fake voice. (Name) looked at Armin and then walked over to Mina.
"I bet you're just jealous of him. I can't believe you'd say that though. So mean." (Name) said to Mina. Mina placed her hands on her hips.
"Ooooh little girl defending her little boyfriend!" Mina said sassily. (Name) rolled her eyes.
"Wow, such a bitch you are." Mina said. (Name)'s hand balled up. When Christa saw this she ran up to (Name) and grabbed her arm.
"(Name) calm down!" Christa said, tugging at (Name)'s arm.
(Name) looked at her friend. Mina laughed and walked away. Armin quietly snuck out of the classroom, sad because of what Mina had said. When (Name) saw this she followed him. It took Eren and Christa a while to realize that their friends were missing (they're kinda slow), but when they did, they hurried out of the classroom to find their friends.
It didn't take long for (Name) to find Armin. He was sitting in a corner in the Library. She walked up to him.
"Armin, it's (Name)..." She said. Armin turned around and looked at her. He had cried. (Name) ran forward and hugged him.
"Don't cry Armin, she's not worth it." (Name) whispered. Armin wiped his tears away.
"I need to stand up for myself. I want to be able to protect you too." Armin said quietly. He then stood up. (Name) looked at him with a confused look in her face.
"Armin...?" She asked. Armin smiled at her.
"I'm fine. Come (Name), let's go to our next class." Armin said, holding out his hand. (Name) nodded and held his hand while he pulled her up. The two then walked out of the library together. Unknown to them however, was that Eren and Christa were watching them.
Christa sighed happily.
"They are perfect together." She said, and Eren nodded. He then looked at his clock.
"Damn the clock is much, we should hurry Christa." Eren said running off.
"Hey waaait!" Christa called out and ran after him.

~Time Skip to Anime and Manga Club~
(Name), Petra, Eren and Armin were sitting at their normal table. Currently, they were listening to Mr Ackerman.
"We will be allowed to have a field trip each year. Any suggestions?" Mr Ackerman asked. Jean raised his hand.
"Isn't there a really big convention during Spring? That means we have pretty much time to collect money since it's Autumn right now." Jean suggested. Reiner agreed. "That could be fun!" Petra said, giggling. Mr Ackerman shot her a 'be quiet' glance and Petra immediately turned quiet.
"Alright. We'll go for that. Everyone make sure to have money with you.
Now, today's discussion will be about your top ten anime couples." Mr Ackerman said.
"Do they have to be canon sir?" Sasha asked. He nodded.
"Only canon couples allowed." He said then sat down in his chair. The chattering started.
"Inuyasha and Kagome need to be on here!" Petra said.
"They didn't become canon though, did they?" Eren asked.
"Of course they did! They got married." (Name) said. Eren and Armin looked at the two like they were crazy.
"Well, Edward and Winry need to be here too." Armin said making (Name) nod. Eren and Petra smirked, poking their friends in the ribs.
"Hey! Owww..." (Name) whined, rubbing her ribs. Petra giggled.
"You remember, right?" Eren asked his friend.
Armin crossed his arms.
"Of course I did!" He said, a bit annoyed.
"Alright we have two couples now... Who else?" (Name) asked, deciding that getting back to the list was a good idea.
"TOMOE AND NANAMI." Petra almost shouted, making the rest of the class stare at her.
"Ral. You're being noisy." Mr Ackerman said.
"Forgive me Mr Ackerman." Petra said quietly. She then sighed in relief.
"But did they even become canon?" (Name) asked. Petra looked up at the ceiling, like she always did when she was thinking.
"Not sure..." Petra replied, unsurely.
"Who else then?" Eren asked.
"Maybe Tomoya and Nagisa from Clannad?" Petra suggested.
"God you only want these Shoujo anime couples." Eren said, rolling his eyes. Petra pouted.
"It is a good idea though." Armin said.
Armin counted the couples they had so far. "1, 2, 3... We only have three." Armin stated. The three others scratched the back if their heads.
"Let's keep working." Armin said.

Three hours had passed. Yet no other couple had been added.
"We suck at this..." Petra muttered, getting a nod from (Name). And with that, they gave up. (Name) slumped her head on Armin's shoulder.
"I'm tired.." She mumbled. Armin blushed a bit, since he wasn't all that used to girls. Well, except for Mikasa. But she's not really your typical girl. Petra yawned.
"Isn't Mr Ackerman gonna like, kill us?" She asked. Suddenly, Mr Ackerman appeared behind them.
"Oy. What's going on here? How's the list going?" He asked in his usual voice, the stoic one.
"We don't have so many couples. Barely any of those we ship are actually canon, sir." Eren said. Mr Ackerman looked at him. He then scoffed and went back to his desk. The four students sighed.
"Why don't we all go home together?" (Name) suggested. Eren agreed.
"That sounds good." He said. And with that, the four students stood up, excused themselves and left the school.
Petra and (Name) were walking in front of the two boys, chatting like two best friends would.
"Really? You know, I heard that there's a soccer game this weekend! Why don't we go?" Petra suggested. (Name) shook her head.
"Too loud!" She said, which made Petra pout.
"Why don't we... Go to the beach?" (Name) then suggested. Petra eyes lit up and she clapped her hands together.
"That sounds great!" Petra exclaimed, smiling brightly. She then looked at Eren and Armin and smirked. The two boys looked at her with confused faces. She then turned back around and giggled.
"I'm sure it will be fun!"
