Actually what happened to Jonny is
When Amber's parents where alive and Amber not yet born as her mother was 7 months pregnant
That time Jonny has the bad habits of alcohol, drugs and what not

One day police arrest him that time Jonny call his brother ( amber father) to help him to release him from the jail

Which will happen when he will pay twenty five thousand dollars which was not a small amount and Amber father was a middle class man with average salary on that his wife was pregnant and he will require money for her delivery so he denied and decide that Jonny should get his lesson from this and after the punishment is over he should start his life with new fresh

So that is the reason amber father did not help him because of his behaviour and drug addict alcohol wasting his money on liquor

That's why Jonny his hell bent on to make amber life hell
