𝓓ARRIANS EYES PERKED up instantly, his entire expression shifting to a more alert one as he reads the text message that had just come through his phone he had been checking up on amoura everyday for the past two days, he really wanted to make sure she was doing okay.he had called and texted her but most of the time, she would either not reply or just reply very briefly. it was clear she was still pretty shaken up by this situation, she still hadn't fully recovered from it yet. obviously. "hey i just wanted to tell you that i don't want to see you anymore so please don't text me or call me again and do not show up to my house. i just don't think that we should keep talking to each other, so please respect my boundaries." he read it aloud to himself.
he immediately froze the moment that he read the text message, his expression quickly changed from being alert to side eyeing his phone. his first thought was to call her but he stopped himself, the text message said to specifically not text or call so he respected her wishes and didn't do either of those things.
he wanted to go to her house and check on her in person but he didn't want to cross that boundary that she was setting. her message came across as pretty blunt but darrian kept reminding himself that her emotions must just be really high right now and she probably didn't even mean to sound that way.
he kept reading and re-reading her message, but at the same time he noticed that his heart was racing. he was feeling a little anxious, he wished he could just talk to her right now and not just get a random message like this. as he read it again, this time he noticed the words "please do not show up to my house or call", he was starting to get irritated the more he read. she meant it, and he didn't want to upset her further by showing up at her house uninvited.
