Zen's POV

I am Zen Alfonso. A 30-year-old part-time worker, and proudly a full-time MOONINE fanboy.

Moonine is a rising K-pop boy group that has been receiving more praise nowadays because of their good talents but I have been a consistent st4r (name of fandom) since their rookie days.

I was admiring my Bias' photocard that's been hanging by my mirror when my alarm rang.

"Dang it. I was still daydreaming of Seven and me kissing at our beach wedding." I angrily turned off my alarm but made sure that I didn't hit it too hard. I can't afford to buy a new one, so better be careful than sorry.

"Haa. Seven, bye for now because I still need to go to work. But don't you worry, I'll be back later to spend some time with you." I say as I blow lots of flying kisses to the photo card.

I'm not gonna spend time with Seven physically since I'm penniless. I'm simply going to watch his social media updates later when I return home.

I arrived at the Korean BBQ restaurant where I part-time. "Good morning boss!"

"Hello, Zen! Seems like you had a good morning. I guess you dream of your bias again from that boy group, what it's called again? Moonie?"

"Ma'am, for the 20th time... it's Moonine, not Moonie. And I didn't have a dream last night, I was daydreaming."

The kind boss simply laughs and says, "Alright alright... Moonine."

Just like usual, I was busy serving meat and catering to customers' requests. But I never fail to forget to watch and read some Moonine updates during breaks.

Suddenly, I read from an official post that the boy group, Moonine, will be performing at the music show with their hit album song, "Moon Phases" and it's tomorrow!

I silently squealed in excitement. Then, the realization hit me. I don't have enough money.

"What got you excited?" I was so surprised by the sudden voice near my ear that I almost dropped my 12-month installment new phone.

"Eek! Emman, you surprised me." I jokingly hit his shoulder and he laughs apologetically.

"Sorry, Zen."

"It's okay." Emman looks at me curiously as if waiting for me to share the good news.

"Oh, the thing is... I read online that the Moonine will be performing their song in the music show."

Emman claps his hand in excitement. He isn't a st4r like me but he is always happy for me whenever I share conversations about Moonine.

"That's great! Will you attend?"

"I wanted to... but you know my financial situation. It's always hard to save up money especially when I have bills and debts to pay."

"Oh... right."

There was a silence of sadness between us.

"Then, should I lend you some cash?"

I quickly wave my hands and shake my head. "No no no, it's fine. I can always attend some other time."

He pouts, "Are you sure?"

I let out a sigh, "Yes. It would only make me deeply indebted to you. That could make me feel guilty for your kindness. You're too kind, you know?"
