chapter one; paired up with a bitch

AMINITY VIOTTO WAS NOW in the parking lot of evergreen high, sitting in her black car, grabbing her things for school. aminity's friend, selena daviss was sitting in the passenger seat, watching as her friend was frantically looking around for her pencil.

"where is the fucking thing!?" aminity shouted in frustration, groaning as she said it.

"maybe. you left it at home?" selena suggests.

"don't you have a pencil i can borrow?" aminity asked, only getting a glare from the blonde. "what?"

"every time you ask for one, you lose it." selena answers, making aminity nod in an agreeing way. "i don't have an extra one anyways."

aminity continues to look around the car as selena joins the search to find a pencil for aminity.

"ha! found it!" selena exclaimed, holding it up to aminity.

"where did you find it?"

"underneath your bag."

"DAMN IT!"

they were now in their third period which was biology. aminity and selena were in the same class together...

with olivia rodrigo. the popular girl, the "queen" of evergreen high, and aminity's hot ─ worst nightmare.

"alright class, today we are going to be dissecting a frog and you guys are gonna be partnered up." mr. faye explained. he then starts reading the partners off of a sheet of paper, "maria and nia. catlynn and chase. axel and troy. selena and eden."

selena's face blushes. she was going to be partners with her crush. aminity smirks at her friend, watching her get up and walk over to the brunette boy that was sitting alone.

awe.

"aminity and olivia."

ew.

"what?"
"excuse me?"
aminity and olivia said insync.

"you heard me." mr. faye said before partnering everybody else.

aminity rolls her eyes before getting up from her seat at her and selena's desk and going over to where olivia was sitting with a pissed off look on her face.

"hey." aminity greeted.

olivia rolls her eyes.

"alright, be a brat then." aminity said, agitated.

"excuse you? who do you think your talking to?"

"a bitch."

"whatever."

"want to do the honors, princess?" aminity teased.

"gross. no."

"what? afraid to get blood and guts in her finger nails?" aminity laughs out loud as she waves olivia's hand around, her having black nail polish on.

olivia slaps her hand away as she cringed at aminity's comment. "that's gross. i knew you were weird, but not that weird."

aminity smiles. "i don't care what you think of me, just so you know."

"wow. what a gentlewoman." olivia says sarcastically.

aminity laughs as she puts a hand on the back of olivia's, patting it gently. "i very much am a gentlewoman."

aminity puts on the blue latex gloves before picking up a scalpel, ready to dissect the frog.

"oh, my god. i can't watch." olivia turns away with her hand covering her mouth, feeling a bit sick.

"can you not handle this type of stuff?"

olivia looks at her with a cold stare. "no. i'm just covering my mouth and looking away for fun. of course i can't handle this type of stuff!" olivia exclaims making aminity laugh.

aminity starts cutting the frog, dragging the blade down the middle, juicy stuff coming out making aminity cringe and olivia look at it about to gag.

aminity takes the blade away from the poor frog before looking at olivia with a smirk. aminity jabs at her with the blade in her hand, putting the gewey covered blade near olivia. olivia jumps at the sudden action, seeing that aminity had a slimy blade in front of her making her gag.

"jesus. get that away from me!" olivia pushes aminity's hand away. "why? why would you do that?"

"i'm sorry. intrusive thoughts won on that one." aminity chuckles, feeling a bit bad seeing how olivia immediately backed away. "i'm sorry."

"whatever. just focus on this poor frog." olivia frowns as she looks at the cut open frog.

aminity laughs. "you are too innocent for me, princess."

olivia looks away from aminity, hiding her little smile. wait. smile? she was smiling? specifically at a girl? aminity viotto? a girl who was literally the most antisocial person at this school was making olivia smile?

"piss off, you hobo."

"love you too, oblivia."

"don't call me that."

"then don't call me a hobo."

"fine."

"glad we can agree on something, olivia." aminity says, sounding out every syllable in olivia.

olivia rolls her eyes, but secretly it was to stop looking at aminity so she wouldn't giggle or smile.

selena watches the whole interaction from afar with a tiny smirk on her face.

aminlivia. this ship should be a fun ride.
