The Unexpected

As boys were getting rescued, more policemen had made it to the island. The policemen had found Piggy and Simon alive. Piggy never died, when the big rock was falling on him there was a small place where Piggy had run to take cover. He ended up passing out from the shock, when the policeman found him, he was taken to his aunt. For Simon, when he was washed up from shore, he still happened to still be alive. He was taken to the hospital and was in great care.

The other boys all made it home, but however their parents were nowhere to be found. They were all part of World War II and couldn't make it out on time. Ralph, Jack, the choir boys, and the littluns, were then sent to an orphanage. Simon was still in the hospital and did not get well until a month later. Once he was better, he was also sent to the orphanage. All the boys were sent to school, they all lived like one family, although some of them didn't get along. Like at all.

"Move out of my way now, Ralph!" Jack hissed, " Just because we have to see each other everyday, you shouldn't have to be in front of me at all times." Jack pushes by Ralph, along with Roger falling behind him. "I never intended to be in your way!" Ralph was never scared by Jack, but was hurt and only wanted peace with him.

"Ralph?" Ralph turned to see the Mother of the orphanage behind him.

"Have you seen Simon or Samneric?" The Mother wondered.

"No I have not, would you like me to go find them?" Ralph asked.

"That would be kind of you Ralph, thank you." The Mother happily smiled.
