the way you guys feel about each other." Ralph didn't know how to respond to that but he knew the Mother was right. So the next day Ralph walked up to Jack trying to find a way for Jack to listen to him.

"Jack! Please let me understand you! Because I don't understand you. Why do you seem to hate me so much? I tried so many times to think of the reasons why you could but I could never come up with any." Ralph spoke desperately. Jack turned to look at Ralph.

"I never hated you, I envied you. I hated that everyone was listening to you and never me." Jack was very angry.

"Envy me? Jack Merriedew envies me?" Ralph was somewhat surprised.

"When I started hunting, all the boys seemed to want to join me. I will admit, I did let it get the best of me. I let hunting consume me and I forgot all about what was good for me. I really didn't want to hurt you, not even Simon nor Piggy. It was all because I was jealous. After we were reduced I thought there was no way to make things better so I treated you the same knowing that it was wrong. I didn't know how to come back from it. I am really sorry about everything. I want to be friends with you. I just love you!" Jack admitted everything to Ralph.

"Jack... I-I LOVE YOU TOO! But first before you can love me you must apologize to everyone you hurt and I myself am sorry too. I didn't listen to you at all and I was only ever worried about getting reduced and the fire." Ralph argued

Jack insisted that it wasn't Ralph's fault. They itched closer to each other. As their faces came close and they kissed. Jack slowly pulls away from Ralph. Ralph looks deeply into Jack's eyes and pulls him in for another kiss. This kiss lasted longer than the first. They both pulled away blushing. Jack turned his face around, but Ralph pulled it back. "Ralph I loved you for so long, I don't think I can let you go anymore. I've loved you ever since I met you" Jack cried.

"I don't think I can let you go either. I love you too. Let's date!" Ralph shouted. They both agreed. Jack then apologized to Simon, Piggy and other boys that he had hurt.

After all of this Ralph and Jack were now dating and announced it to everyone. Simon was the happiest for them. Everyone else was cool with it, but Roger. Roger was jealous because he wanted to be with Jack. Roger tried to hurt Ralph but the Mother stopped him before he could. Everyone was now happy, but Roger and they all lived happily ever after.
