But so far away
How I feel about your existence
Each and every single day
Each time I open my lips to talk to you
I suddenly have nothing to say
My sight is blurred
My speech is slurred
And my thoughts just swirl
Around in each and every way
My eyes are opened
Yet I do not see
For truly love really has
Blinded me
I am mute
But not silent
For i have lips
But they just do not speak
Yet my actions potray
All that I could ever say
My feelings for you are too deep
All in my heart
Like a mountain
It all piles up into a heep
Yet again and again
You come
My longing friend
And put my fears and anxieties to sleep
But days on end
I long for my friend
The sweet treasure that I never had
The sweet treasure that I may never have...
Like the sweet honey of the bee
That is desired by many
I may never have a taste
And the longing of my heart
For your tender embrace
could might as well have been a bitter waste...
