So what if I'm infatuated?

So what if im infatuated
And to control myself,i just can't
And my like has graduated into more than just love
What if im just confused and it's all of the above

Even if i wanted to
I couldn't have you
It's blatant,obvious,so very true
For like the precious treasure that you are,you have someone you belong to

You see
This is me pouring my heart out to you on a platter of gold
You could either take it and keep it,to have and to hold

Or drop it
And leave it
To die
out in the cold

But anyway
that's just food for thought
Im hoping a while after reading this
All my words you wouldve forgot

Yet even though
It's drifting,hold onto to this thought
I think about you most of the time
Actually quite alot

Whether you care about this
Or you frankly just don't
To make a difference for me it,really won't

But i'll still keep you in my heart
thinking about you a-lot
whether you think about me
Whether you love me or not
