Zayla's POV

"Aww look at that one, it looks like you," I laughed as I pointed at the gorilla standing behind the glass. It seemed like every Saturday Malik and I were out on a date. Today we decided we would go to the zoo, I loved how he liked to do everything. I've been to the zoo once, when I was younger so I'm glad that he decided to bring me here.

"Oh damn, well then I guess that's you," he pointed at one of the monkeys hanging on a rope. "Don't even play with me like that," I was laughing so hard right now. We had been joking and playing around all day like two little kids.

"Man, yo ass just told me I look like a gorilla. You started this shit," he was laughing right along with me. "You wanna feed the giraffes?" I asked hoping he would say yes. "Yeah lets go, I know your twins hungry," he grabbed my hand as we turned to walk towards the giraffes. "Oh boy please, they look more like you than me," I hit his chest playfully. We joked the whole walk to the giraffes, once we got to them we had to pay for the feedings and we got to feed them.

I took some pictures of me feeding one. I loved giraffes they were my favorite animals since a little girl. Malik did not want to feed them, he said he didn't want their tongues touching his hand so he just let me do it.

Afterwards we went to see the elephants and we left. We were now in the car on the way to my place. "How'd it feel being able to see your family today," I joked. "It felt good knowing you got to spend quality time with your twins," I dragged.

"All yo lil ass like to do is talk shit, chill on me damn," he laughed, looking at me out of the corner of his eyes.

"To be fair you're the one who started it when you said I looked like that zebra," I laughed just thinking about it. He kind of surprised me because I didn't know we were that comfortable with each other to be joking like that, one thing I can do is talk shit.

"And you been on my ass ever since, crazy ass girl," he chuckled. "Say sorry and I'll leave you alone," I grinned. "Alright, I'm sorry," he said.

"Exactly," I said smartly. "I'm lying, why would I be sorry," he reached his hand over grabbing my chin playfully shaking my head. "Move," I smacked his hand away from my face. I loved how comfortable we were becoming with one another. I was trusting him so fast, all the bad thoughts I had in the beginning were fading away quickly.

As we pulled up to my apartment I mustered up the courage to ask if he wanted to come in, I don't know why I did that because what man is going over a woman's house just to not get no pussy.

I felt kind of stupid but he said yes, so I was just hoping he didn't get the wrong idea. "Damn this is nice as fuck," he was looking around my apartment building as we made our way to the elevator. "It gets better than this to be honest, you just have to walk around," this apartment offered so much, which is why I moved here. They had everything here and I loved how they included a dog park.
