There was once peace. The beginning of the new year, however, had some of that peace shattered when a senator was shot dead. Puffer hadn't heard much from it, as he tried not to tune into any news that wasn't game related. The only reason he knew about this? His car's radio had decided this was very important information he should know. Although the timing was a bit ironic seeing as how he was behind a cop car.
Normally Puffer would fly to Florida, but he had ended up driving as, for some odd reason, any planes going to the western side of the USA were grounded. Rumors of a sickness like covid being the cause were the most popular reasoning, but that didn't matter now. Puffer was on the road, and he had been driving for a few days now. He had only left the last rest stop a few hours ago, so he had plenty of energy to drive.
Which is why he was alert enough to notice the police heading the opposite direction. A full on helicopter even went past. Puffer noticed the cop car in front of him wasn't turning around, so he wasn't too worried. Puffer heard his phone go off and caught a quick glance, seeing that it was Grizzy saying that they had booked their hotel. With how sparse traffic was, Puffer grabbed his phone and replied back, mentioning he was in Georgia.
A week long vacation in Florida with the boys, what could go wrong? Well, someone might get bitten by a baby alligator, but that was the worst case scenario. Puffer then tensed up as the sound of a car spinning out caught his attention. As soon as he looked up, he saw that the cop car in front of him had hit something, and was now heading right for him. The cop car slammed into Puffer's, causing both cars to break through the metal barrier. There was no time to react as Puffer's head slammed into the steering wheel, knocking him unconscious.
