More building hopping happened before the walkers started to slow down in numbers, allowing the group to scale down a building and move towards the outskirts of the city. As soon as they did, Puffer looked back at Savannah, the city that took so much away from him in only two days. Two, fucking, days was all it took for the possible real rock bottom to hit. The road leading out of Savannah was the path they were taking for the moment, but Duck stopped when he saw Puffer wasn't following. "Puffer...?" Duck called out, causing the group to stop.

Christa walked over to him, "Hey...you want to talk about it?"

"What's there to talk about?" Puffer mumbled, "I failed almost everyone...Ben, Kenny, Lee...Mark, Katjaa, Brie, Carley, Doug... I was supposed to be the one that made the right choices and made sure we all stayed safe. How did I fail so miserably?"

"You got us out of there," Christa said, "We lost some good people, but you made sure the casualties were minimal. That's all you can really do..."

"I owe him so much, you know," Puffer said, "Lee had my back so many times in the past. Fuck man, I never got to pay him back for any of it I feel like."

"You can pay him back, by helping to make sure Clementine stays safe," Christa said, looking at the city with him, "You heard Lee, he believed in you. And honestly, after everything I've seen, so do I." Puffer didn't know why considered everything that happened. While they talked, Travis had climbed one of the hills, trying to get a better idea on if there were any walkers nearby.

As he scouted the area, he paused at a tree, seeing someone small sit down nearby. Travis narrowed his eyes, trying to see who it was. When he saw the baseball cap, he nearly sprinted down the hill, "I saw Clementine!" Travis shouted, "Come on!"

As soon as Travis said that, Puffer and Christa turned back before quickly rejoining the group. Sure enough, Clementine sat on her own, perking up when she saw the group heading towards her. When they got close enough, Clementine ran over and hugged Christa, Omid, and Elizabeth. "I made sure Lee didn't turn..." Clementine whimpered, and Puffer felt his heart broke hearing that. He knew Lee wouldn't make it, but damn did it still hurt.

"So where now...?" Duck asked, looking up at Puffer.

He wasn't sure himself, was there anywhere truly safe? Most likely not. They would just have to keep moving, "We should go further north," Puffer said, "I'm sick of Georgia..."

"Probably for the best..." Travis mumbled, clearly sad about leaving his home state behind. It would suck to travel so much, but who knows, maybe this was for the better. Only time would really tell.
