"Are you sure you're gonna pay for everything?"
Riel, who has his long hair tied up in a ponytail, asked Cale who was following him. The two redheads, at first glance, looked like brothers at the moment.
"You're so noisy Ahjussi. I told you I will already."
Cale said, annoyed at the repeated questions. Only the two of them were going around on their own at the moment.
Cale had asked Ron and Beacrox to help buy Choi Han a new weapon. Meanwhile, Riel said he'll be somewhere else as he did not need one.
Curious, Cale decided to follow after him. And Riel only agreed when Cale said he'll pay for anything he wanted to buy.
Of course, Riel already has his own money. They were rewarded quite generously by the Count after all. But, who wouldn't like free stuff? And so, he readily agreed.
Now the two of them are going around in the slums, visiting bakeries, of all places. Cale had actually decided to actually push his laziness back... for bread.
Even he couldn't believe it himself. Hence, the weird look he had been sending the older redhead's way. Which Riel pointedly ignored.
And all the bread they bought were safely stored in Cale's spacial bag, a gift Miler gave him before.
"Alright, I think that'll be enough for now. Let's go."
Riel finally said after leaving the fourth bakery they visited. Cale, being the curious cat he is, followed obediently.
Actually, Riel was already regretting letting this young master go with him. He was planning of doing this without anyone noticing, as he did not want attention.
However, that was impossible with Cale Henituse around. Anyone who encountered them would greet the young master rather enthusiastically.
Even people from the slums were greeting Cale one after another. Giving Riel a headache with how much attention they were getting.
While going around, Riel also learned a lot about this young master who was portrayed as "trash" in the novel. One was, the kid was a big hearted tsundere.
He wanted to act tough, but was actually soft hearted specially toward children. Also, he was insanely rich. Like really, really rich.
Although Riel knew that the Henituse is a rich noble family, Cale seemed a whole new level of rich. When asked, he simply and casually said that he has three hyungs giving him allowance so he saved a lot of money.
And Riel really wanted to know who these "hyungs" were.
The two walk in silence, well mostly because the people still greets the young master here and there, and reached their destination. Cale looked around the place in confusion.
"What's your business in the slum's 'Man Eating Tree?'"
Cale couldn't help but asked in curiosity and confusion. To which Riel just casually shrugged.
"I'mma feed it."
Riel bluntly answered as he crossed the fence enclosing the tree. Meanwhile, Cale was a bit stunned.
"Come again?"
"I'll feed it. With bread. Hurry up young master."
Riel once again repeated with no emotion whatsoever. Cale hurriedly followed after him inside the fence, looking at Riel as if asking if he was crazy.
