As i walk through the wide and long hallway, looking left and right at the pictures of me and my family.

My three brothers which I loved and still love to death. Sadly they were sent to war by my father. I miss them.

My mother, who I loved more than anyone but who was beaten to death by my father due to the fact that she did not want to agree with my father sending my brothers to war.

My father, the monster I was forced to obey all my life. The person I despise more than anything or anyone in this world. Also the most abusive member of my family. The monster I wish died instead of my mother.

Then there's me. The only daughter of the family. Badly abused by my father because I could never be "perfect".

I look infront of me while walking in hopes I don't burst down in tears.

Arrived at the huge doors, I knock gently at them.

"You may enter!"
I hear a deep and scary voice imply. I tremble slightly, it was my father's voice. Ugh, I hate that man and how i'm terrified of him.

I walk in to find my father sitting in his chair with Vexton sitting infront of him. Both facing me, my father smiling like he was innocent.

"I was told that you needed my presence in your offi-"

"Sit down."
My father cuts me off.

"I-I'm sorry-"
I struggle to speak and quickly make my way next to Vexton and sits down.

"How dare you cut her off, where are your manners, old man?"

Vexton implies as he flashes a dead stare to my father.

"I'm sorry sir-"

"Not me, apologize to Scarlett."

I freeze. My father would never apologize to me-

"I'm sorry..Scarlett."
My father lets out as he sighs.

"It's fine."
I respond as if I could say otherwise.
Gosh Vexton does have alot of power..Made a heartless and monstrosious person apologize.

"So, what did you want to talk about that was so important?"
Vexton implies. He then proceeds to steal a few glances at me.

Vexton's pov.

Scarlett...gosh..she's such a pretty girl..
I would do anything for that woman. I could even go to the point of praising her.

Her body is perfect, her curves...her thick thighs..her sharp jawline...gosh.

Her voice is so elegant..like music to my ears. No matter what she lets out of that mouth, it turns out so devine..so adorable.

Her stares...breath-taking.

She is the woman of my dreams.

I clear my throat and snaps back to reality. Yes, the deal.

"Sir Vexton, I was implying on how my daughter reached the age of marriage. And I would like to know if you were willing to marry her..it does not have to be true love, just a contract"

I freeze..

Marrying her. This is a dream come true. But, I want it to be true love. I want to know if she feels attracted to me in any sort of way.Not to mention that I have to force myself to act nonchalant so as she does not catch on to that I have developped feelings for her over the years.

"So you want money?"
I reply back to him, simply.

Scarlett chuckles slightly.
Woah...those were the cutest chuckles i've ever heard in my life.

Anyways..

"W-what do you mean?"

Her father implies, becoming defensive.

"Calm down, i'm not going to kill you..mabye I will, but thats for another time. I need to know what Scarlett thinks about this first."

Scarlett gives us a confused look.

"Obviously my answer is no."

I sigh of disappointment.

"I respect your choice, princess. Mabye someday"

"Oh shut it, you're acting like as if you love me."

"What made you think that?of course not..why would I like you?"

I imply..gosh she almost realized it..
