Once, before the stars were born, were the celestial deities. Cynthei: An angelic goddess with floating golden hair and diamond like eyes. She possessed the power to cast gorgeous contagious light wherever she walked, a golden glowing aura followed her loyally as a shadow would. Beside her was her love, her partner in her lonely life. Zaro. Like her, a god like being who knew shadow after shadow. Navy blue eyes placed inside his pale skin like pools of night sky. He held the ability to darken that golden brilliance and in its place cover their world in peaceful dark and dimly lit flickers of light.

Their bond was unbreakable and vowed to die in each others arms, but their greatest wish was to build a home for themselves and to bless that home with their power. Cynthei rose her sun each morning and Zaro exchanged it for his radiant moon at dusk, the day brought dusty skies, soft grass and comforting warmth while the night carried stars dotted across the atmosphere and a joyus breeze. The sun brought life to their new world, gave birth to flora and wonderful creatures; some flew, some sang, others killed and others ran, but they all vowed to help the couple build and look after their world that had been crafted. Along with the night came rest and peace and soon after came fluffy clouds, fresh rain and soft snow to play among them and act as the thread as their world was being carefully sewn together stitch by stitch. Cynthei and Zaro had never been happier, everyday brought new discoveries and wonders to have a place in their beautiful world. Their love burned and loneliness drifted away but there was still something missing from their home.

Their world was expanding by the day with new lands, oceans and deserts. Cynthei and Zaro were both overcome with exhaustion, the animals worked tremendously to help but even they couldn't keep up with the work. Cynthei controlled the sun during the bright day while resting during the night and Zaro slept through the day so he could work at night to help the world. The two deities rarely had time to love one another as they had done before and grew saddened and over time realising that their loneliness had returned worse without each other to hold.

One warm morning Cynthei had just risen the early dawning sun and a moment later slumped sadly on a large rock, she looked out onto a winding, glistening river that was surrounded be trees and honeybees climbing onto garnet roses. Cynthei smiled at the bees but gradually she began tearing up, missing her love she cried into her palms wishing to spend some quality time with him once again and to relax together. She sobbed quietly as her tears added to the flowing water in the river. A nearby honeybee noticed the goddess crying to herself and flew over to her, placing himself on her hand. The bee's soft hum got Cynthei's attention as she brought her hand up to her face to hear the little bee.

The bee, curious and sympathetic looked at Cynthei with pollen on its feet and asked

"My sunny lady, why do you cry so sadly? Our world is thriving yet you are hear alone
without the moon man."

Cynthei smiled sweetly to the bee still with glittering tears within her eyes, she moved
her eyes to the sun slowly rising from the horizon and her small smile faded as she
sighed with sorrow

"Little bee that's why I cry, the sun is rising once again to start a new day but it's another day where I am here without my dear Zaro and this night he will be without me once again. I adore him so dearly it pains me that this world we built, we can't live in our world together"

The bee followed Cynthei's gaze towards the sun and flickered its wings for a moment before turning back to the sun Goddess, the little bee buzzed its wings and began hovering above her hand.

"My lady, follow me back to my hive and my colony can help you as you have helped us build a home"

Cynthei nodded thankfully and followed the bee as he flew to a hive attached to a large blossom tree, the bee scurried into the hive and a few moments later a swarm came crawling out the hive each one carrying small pieces of sticky honeycomb. The Queen bee crawled to the front of the group and offered her piece of honeycomb to Cynthei which she took carefully and held in her hand. One by one each bee flew up to place their pieces of honeycomb in her palm. Soon Cynethi had a pile of honeycomb pieces, she thanked the bee's graciously and carried the honeycomb back to the rock. She took a small piece from the pile and inspected it hopefully. An idea came to mind before she began carefully separating the honey from the comb and extracting the tiny portions of beeswax, with her mind set it stone Cynthei began separating the wax from each small piece until she was left with a bundle of beeswax.

Before the sun could melt it, Cynthei knelt down next to the river and began shaping the wax pile, smoothing out the substance, shaping it as if she was molding clay ready for a kiln. Occasionally using water and heat to alter the texture. Hours went by as she gradually created a figure with matching limbs like hers, hands, legs, fingers and toes. She grabbed a small, sharp pebble from the stream and began carving features resembling hers; eyes, lips, ears and a nose. When the sun was high above the clouds was when she stood aside to admire the sculpture and a smile shined on her face. Cynthei stepped forward and placed her hand on the waxy statue's forehead and her hand began to glow a wondrous golden light. She closed her eyes, letting her power travel through the sculpture.

"My creation, I bless you to live, to breathe, to walk. Your wax body will transform into skin like mine. Inside your body a heart will beat and lungs will gasp, live my creation live."

The wax figure began to glow bright with everlasting gold, and moments later it's wax shell began to melt away, sliding off and revealing human skin underneath. Blood ran beneath and traveled through newly strung veins, it's carved eyes now blinked full of life and it's lips started to quiver, soft auburn locks began to grow from it's scalp and it's once white eyes transformed to a sharp green hue.

"My creation, I give you no more power but the power to create more beings of yourself, collect wax and to create life identical to yours. Do this to help us look after this world, nurture the grounds and help the creatures."

Cynthei slowly removed her hand from the person's head and smiled sweetly at the life she had created to which they smiled back gratefully. The figure turned their attention to their new limbs, flexing it's fingers and chuckling softly.

The golden goddess turned her head towards the illuminating castle that she and her love called home, her eyes lingered on the castle before turning back to the creature with a hint of sorrow in her features

"Now, my creation I implore you to live in our world and help take care of it, I will return and so will my husband to aid you and the beings you make. Now though, I will go back to my love and hold him in my arms once again."

The creature nodded, still wearing a smile and bowed in front of her goddess.

"Thank you"

the creature replied, eyes filled with life and hope,

"I will not take your kindness for granted, my lady"

After that, Cynthei placed a hand to her heart and bid her creation farewell. She began her journey to the castle where her love slept for the day, she took quick steps through the palace, the afternoon sun gracing the castle of glow through glass, with every moment that passed she rushed more to reach the room where Zaro slept. Once she got there she quietly entered their room and approached the bed where he peacefully slept. She knelt by his side gently brushing a dark lock of hair from his cheek. She placed a soft kiss on his forehead and carefully climbed into the bed to lay beside him.

As Cynthei moved her body against his, Zaro dozily opened his eyes to face up at her, his exhaustion showing clearly on his face, trying to speak to his love. She met his gaze and held him close in her arms, placing a hand at the back of his neck.

"It's okay my love, sleep soundly knowing I will stay here while you do. I will no longer stray from your side."

Zaro smiled to her and rested his head against her and drifted back to sleep; not long after so did she.
