Rosemary woke up again, but this time in a warm meadow in spring. The environment was glowing in a luminous light. Something warm. Something that felt like home. Then she spotted Z sitting on top of a small hill on a picnic blanket staring up at the sky. She made her way over to him and when she was near he said, "This is a place I go....or where I am meant to go.... I can never remember actual sun rays touching my skin, can you imagine that? And the feeling of a soft picnic blanket on some grass. When my experiment procedure was completed, I forgot about everything. About who I was, why I was this and what happened to me. The staff immediately filled in on what they had done but became defensive on who I really was and from that point on, in secret I would sneak off to my meditation chamber to come here and clear myself from the pain, regret and sadness I felt." Rosemary sat near him on a separate picnic blanket and listened intentionally. "I also can never remember the taste of real food or anything considered savoury or sweet. I lived on a diet of a special oatmeal, porridge and something not to be mentioned. I can almost taste the real tastes of food I am meant to eat when I am here. Of course, this all isn't real, but it could be. " he continued, "I admire your supposed courage so I am giving you the chance to walk away. Take it. Then you won't miss your chance of surviving, or seeing your brother." Then he despensed more cold, gentle gas as he lifted his hand. And with that, Rosemary passed out again.
