It was there last night at the lake house and by tomorrow afternoon They'd be home. Venus came to the realization that her and Ethan Edwards had no chemistry. Not one bit, just a lot of sexual attraction. And Venus was okay with that. She was certain Ethan would be too.

Ethan "pretty boy" Edwards was not Boyfriend material and think about it, Venus couldn't picture herself with him. Venus Zegras with Rookie New Jersey Devils Defense? That doesn't even sound right. She liked the idea of him, not him.

As she packed her bag to not be in rush tomorrow Trevor entered the room and stood at the door way. "Thanks v" "for what?" "For bringing summer back to me" he smiled lightly and exited back out of the room. This was another one of his love bombing phases and he didn't even realize it.

Quinn walked past her bed and onto his barely acknowledging her presence. Venus swears one day he'd be all up on her ass and the next she was invisible to him. He plopped down on his bed watching videos on his phone as Venus finished up packing. She placed her bag towards the end of her bed frame and began to walk out of the room.

"Have you been working out? Your ass looks good" he remarked not even glancing up from his phone, "you're not even looking at me", "I don't have too" he said positioning himself to now face the wall. Venus couldn't help but feel her cheeks flush bright red. "Stop blushing and turn of the light on your way out please", "I'm not even blushing", "I hear it in your voice Morning star". She couldn't help but smile bigger. You see her point, one moment invisible, the next talking about her ass apparently ?

Venus stepped into the living room instantly regretting it as she had caught a glimpse of Trevor and summer making out on the sofa. Ew.

As she stumbled back into the hall she turned to be greeted by no other than Ethan Edwards himself. "Long time no talk V?" He joked , "yeah just a little, not quiet enough." She laughed arms now crossed and dimples deep. "So I was wondering Can we talk?" He continued, she raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Please just listen Venus, no more than 10 minutes in my room, Luke is out with Jack and Amanda anyways." He pleaded. She rolled her eyes jokingly and motioned him to step into his room.

"So" "so?"

Why did Venus always have to be this stubborn.

"I was thinking I can't keep sneaking around with you Venus. It's to risky and if Trevor or Jack or Any of them catch us it's over for me. It's hard to sneak around and keep going like this Venus " he explained. "I understand if you wanna end it" Venus commented. "No! No no no, I was going to ask you if you would let me take you on a date, and if things work out we could lead to something more than sneaking around and I wouldn't have to worry about Trevor and them." He replied with a hopeful puppy dog smile. He was so adorable but Venus was in shock. She hadn't expected this, especially not from Ethan.

"Please consider it, I really really like you Venus. I'd like to get to know you better than you're body. I want something more with you if you'd allow it." She was too stunned to speak. Gosh he's so corny she thought to herself. He was right then they wouldn't have to sneak around, but that's what she liked about being with him. The excitement of sneaking around. She loved the adrenaline of there being a chance of getting caught. She loved the hot and heavy and that it wasn't the warm and lovey. Because what's the fun in that? Venus lived life by "I'm here for a good time, not a long time".

He waited and waited for a response but she sat there blankly confused. "Look Venus, sleep on it tonight and let me know tomorrow" he smiled ever so slightly at her. It was a warm and caring smile, he was so perfect and that was what made Venus so wrong for him. Venus could never see herself with someone so perfect, so respectful, someone her parents wouldn't second guess. Venus actually couldn't picture herself with anyone.

She walked out of Ethan's room and back to hers still doing a 100 yard stare, looking as though she's spotted a ghost. This time Quinn did take them to watch as she stepped in. He was still laying in bed just now propped up, freshly showered and with nothing but boxers. Venus couldn't help but notice. She turned flustered and sat on her bed thinking of her conversation with Ethan.

"You good Morning Star?" Quinn furrowed his brows together. She contemplated telling him, he'd always caught them sneaking around so there was nothing worth even hiding from him. "I think Ethan just asked me out?". Quinn's prior expression dropped to pure utter, the actually was no words to express his expression. The only thing that comes to mind is Quinn looked as though his eye was twitching or he had a hair in his eye. Venus was to caught up ranting to even notice.

"He told me he actually likes me?" "That's stupid." "It's stupid someone could like me? "no no Venus you know that's not what i meant" Venus didn't know what he meant but she knew it's not what she implied. She just loved to make him apologize.

After a half hour of contemplating wether or not she should accept or decline she asked Quinn for his opinion. "Please Quinn I need help" "yeah mentally"  he joked giggling. "Stop being an asshole", "it's what I do best" "so come on help me". Quinn at heart wanted to say a million things but instead said...

"You do you Venus."
