Chapter 1

Its really been a damn long day. Im almost done with universty that im going to, but for someone who is not used to so many people around her its quite stressful. Im not used to this. New city, new aparmant, new block, hell, new country even!

„Gurl im going out tonight, you wanna join me?"- Eugen yelled from his bedroom.

„No, Im fine, thanks."

„You are missing soo much fun, you know that? Nikky, listen to me.I know that it is hard for you, I moved just a few blocks, and you moved all the way from Europe for this universty, but girl, you need a night out okay? You"ve been studying all day... every day."

„You are right. But Im not good with parties, I dont drink, I dont smoke, and my dancing is like watching an awkward penguin, and you know that. Beside, Eugen, why now? We live together for almost 3 years and, yes its true, im still not used to this, its still all new to me, but in last few months you" ve been really pushing me out you know? Whats up with that?"

„Ah, is it a crime if I wanna see my bestfriend have some fun? For once I wanna see you not in books and with a drink in your hand, just having fun, you know.."

He looked at me with a little smile and went back to the room. He is wright. Im 23 and I still dont drink, or do anything wild. I dont know to be honest, I just really wanna finish this year and be done and find a real job. I dont say the job I do now is bad or something, its just not a lot of money and I dont like Eugen paying for the most of the stuff just because he is from richer family. Family... I have a little brother, who is just 12, and my mom, beautiful but pretty sharp when it comes to protecting us. I ve been bulied a lot in my middle school, and since my dad never really cared about my feelings or whats going on in my school, mom becamed a mama bear if I may say so. And im glad. Because of me, my mom ended a marrige that most women wouldnt have the balls to do it, and became so strong and independent mom, who, well, likes to party, and for her age she is quite youngish. I know when I was younger they used to think she was my older sister! I do miss her...

„ Are you even listening to me? You bitting that lip while you think looks like you are ready to strip you know that? Trust me, if I wasnt gay, I would fuck you."

„EUGEN, get out and find someone, just dont do, that, here, cuz honey, I love you to death, but I couldnt sit on this couch knowing that some random guy from a bar did that on our couch. This is for tv an Downton Abbey, not down town guy."

„Dayum, I forgot you can be sharp little book girl. But you need to get laid soon, and not call it that, honey. Eugen out!"

He did a little bow, mocking my love for Downton Abbey, and went out as usual. I turned on netfilx to find some good movie. After a while, since I didnt found any good one, I just took my headphones, turned my favourite british boy, and turned on bloodstream as loud as I could"ve, and started drawing. I do like drawing. Anime and manga mostly. I like those big eyes, long hair, and those boobs... damn, I should just draw and stop thinking. Eugen is probably gonna stay out most of the night, so I have time. After a few hours, I finished, and it was so good, I was actually proud of myself. I put it in my drawing map and went to shower. I do love to put music on when I shower. I cant live without music and everybody who knows me, know that. I was getting finish, and started to put on my pjs, when my phone started ringing. It was Eugen.

„Eugen, is everything okay?"

„Nikky, its a long story, can you just pick me up? Im in hospital, just come please."

„Omg, alright alright, I"ll be there in 15."

I hope nothing serious has hapent. I really dont remember the last time he called me. It was already after midnight, so I really didnt care being in my pjs. I took my jacket, car keys and my phone. I do make little money but this quite old car so he was really cheap, and he is not something special, but its better than nothing. After 10 minutes of driving, I turned to parking lot of the hospital. I really hope everything is alright. He maybe looks like he doesnt work out but that boy is strong. I ran in to hospital, to the reception.

„Hi, im looking for Eugen Maxline?"

„Oh yes, head injury, um 3rd floor, at left one of the first door, he should be done." - said nurse smiling.

„Well, um, thank you."

Head injury?!?! What the hell happent?! And why was she smiling? Oh, I am wearing a unicorn shirt.. well she has a point. I got in elevator. I was alone, which was even weird for me in such a big hospital but okay. I left on 3rd floor and the first thing I saw was Eugen sitting looking at me with few stitches on his forehead.

„Eugen oh my god, are you alright?! What happent?"

„Nikky I got in a fight with my ex"s new boyfriend and he took beer botles and smashed them on to my head, it hurts a lot, but Im okay, can we just go please? This place is really not my kinda way of spending the rest of the night, you know?"

„Oh god, Im not gonna say anything, all tho I could... but the last thing you need know is me giving you a lesson, so lets just go."

He nodded and I took his hand around me so I can help him with walking.We were home quick, and everything was so quiet. There was nobody on the street, not even a cat or a dog. I like that. I like night time.
