JUST MEMORIES!

She had a heart of gold,

But the exterior cold,

So many things to hold,

She never felt whole.

She had a beautiful face,

But in her case,

Life was merrily a race,

And happiness just a phase.

She had a restless mind'

Endless answers to find,

Pretended to be fine,

And leave the past behind.

She had the strangest smile,

That stretched a thousand miles,

But it was no wonder a fake,

To it there was no mistake.

Because she had to forget,

The look of endless hate,

That seemed to hold on tight,

Bringing back memories of that night.

From which she never recovered,

Her parents were no longer together,

She lost hope, her heart tethered,

Left a scar on her forever.

The truth hit so hard,

It slowly tore her apart,

Everynight she clutched herself and cried,

But then she slowly realised.

That all those doubts and all those worries,

Were no more than the devil's queries,

life was to live and to strive,

And not to really feel deprived.

Of what could never have been hers,

Instead she learned and she preffered,

To create a dream night wid sparks and fairies,

And that night became just memories.
