MSG: The Chronicles of Yoshiyuki Tomino's Universal Century (OLD)

Introduction

Hello, everyone. Let's get on with this mission briefing. With the recent premiere of the long-awaited movie, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom, I have decided that now is a good time to commission this new project of mine. 

The contents of this fic will be a cohesive and well-detailed recounting of the Universal Century Gundam timeline, using elements from every major UC title up until now. So, AU series such as Wing, G Gundam, and SEED won't be included in this series. However, I'll be mentioning the events of Turn A Gundam and G-Reco in this series due to both series having deep connections with the original Universal Century continuity. Personally, I don't view either of them as part of the UC, but afterthoughts or epilogue series that serve as "what-if scenarios" for what might happen in the far future of Yoshiyuki Tomino's storyline following the events of Victory Gundam and G-Saviour. 

And before anyone goes nuts in the comments, I also want to shout out that I know that certain series such as Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin (both the OVA and manga), the Gundam 0079 Novelization (Awakening, Escalation, and Confrontation) and Compilation Films (Journey to Jaburo, Soldiers of Sorrow, and Encounters in Space), Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt, Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack - Beltorchika's Children, and Gaia Gear, while are part of Universal Century Gundam, are not canon to the main timeline and take place in their own respective continuities. But I'll be using elements from each of these series to fill out certain gaps in the timeline and expand the universe.
