We all just stared at each other, no one uttered a word, silence filled the room and everything became abundantly clear, River was going to find out the truth. He would now know that I knew about him and Ian. He would know that I chose Terry's side knowing what he did. No I knew we would be over.

"Great, we are all here now, let's get down to business," Warner said breaking the silence.

"Wait one second, when Gia called me and gave me the address to meet her, I thought it was extremely odd that it was Terry's address, but why are the FBI here? What is going on Ross?" River asked confused. Oh god, he is going to know now.

" We have another lead into your case. We will be using Ian's son to help us," Peters interjected.

"Son? Are you forgetting that River killed him," Gia stated and saw Terry flinch at her words.

"Ian had two sons, one wasn't known to many and we now have his cooperation," Ross replied.

"Okay, I understand that but why are we here?" River asked and realisation hit him as he looked to Terry and then me, "wait are you telling me that Terry is..."

"Yes I am," Terry said cutting him off, "I am Ian's second son and heir to his empire."

All eyes were now on Terry, Caroline already knew of the situation and remained not bothered by it all. Gia and River were both shocked as it was shown on their faces. Then River's fist landed on Terry's jaw knocking him down.

"You son of a bitch! You fucking son of a bitch! You knew everything this whole time and didn't say anything? You are my best friend Terrance! I love you like a brother and this is what you do?" he screamed as Ross and Peters tried to hold him back. He then faced me and asked me the question I dreaded, "Sophia, did you know?" I looked him in the eyes and nodded my head and immediately pain filled his features. She shrugged off the agents and stormed outside with Gia quick on his heels.

"Well this is quite the night. Terry can you please show us to our room," Caroline said finally speaking since her arrival. What is going on?

"What is she talking about Terry?" I asked clearly confused.

"Caroline and Talia will be staying with us for a while, just until this all boils down," is Terry kidding me?

"Terry, you are kidding right, I mean this is a joke."

"This is now joke Sophia. Once Ian finds out that Talia is his granddaughter, he will go through many lengths to ensure that she separated from us and placed into his hands to continue his empire."

"Us? As in you and Carli? The FBI can protect her fully, she doesn't need to stay here!" I exclaimed very outraged by the whole situation. 

"Sophia stop being selfish!" Terry yelled at me, this idiot actually yelled at me

"I'm being selfish? How can you expect me to live under the same roof as her? She hates me and she wants you, how is this a good idea. I am sure the FBI has a safe house where she can stay."

"Actually, this is the safe house," Warner stated while fixing his tie.

"What do you mean?" I asked already knowing the answer but still needing further confirmation.

" We have set up this place in a way that nothing goes on without us knowing. For the next two months, all involved in this investigation will be residing here," Ross stated which left me unable to speak.

"Are you serious?" I heard Gia ask behind me, "I am not staying in this house! I am pregnant for goodness sake, how am I to live comfortably for me and the baby when I am not home!"

"We understand that Mrs. Smith, your safety is our priority, which is why you must stay here. We will take all necessary precautions to ensure that you are comfortable. We have arranged to bring in one of the best nurses for the agency to stay with you and look after your every need," Ross said and then he looked at me, "I know this is very hard to take in Ms. Lewis but it is the safest choice we have. Having you all in one location is the best thing."

"You are saying this but are you forgetting that we have normal lives? We are all also in the lime light these days. How are you going to prevent danger on the outside then? How much of a safe house can this be if we have jobs and lives to live?" 

" That is a very good point," River said while joining Gia to the back of us, "and there is no way I'm taking a leave of absence from my own company."

"And we are not asking you too. We need you all to carry on your lives like normal, the only exception would be where you sleep. At this house we can discuss everything without information leaking. All you have to do is pretend to be one big happy family," Ross stated and I had to stifle a laugh.

"One big happy family, yeah right. Are you clowns serious? What part of this looks like a big happy family? Gia hates Sophia and loves River. River and Terry both love Sophia and Sophia hates me and don't forget Terry and I have a baby together. So tell me again ow are we a family or happy?" Carli said stating the obvious.

"Look we don't care about all this soap opera bullshit, we just want to make sure that Ian is finished for good. He still has operations going even though he has life in prison. We need to cut him off once and for all so that justice can be served. We are not asking you all for your assistance, we are demanding it. You either help us or go to jail. Choose!" Warner said authoritatively.

No one uttered a word, we all were thinking the same thing, we don't want to go to jail because of Ian.
