I woke with a gasp, "What the hell was that.. " I breathe heavily, I had another nightmare. I get up brushing my pink hair gently out of my face. *Ding!! *"hm?" I look over to my phone with the screen on. I check my phone and I see a notification from Brielle.

                         <few minutes later>
"Hi Bri!" I say excited to see her "There you are. " she mumbles looking away. I start walking down the street towards school "Hey,wait up! " she says running after me. When we get to school we go our separate ways, I have history and she has science, when suddenly I bump into this boy. "Omg! I'm so sorry!! " I apologize quickly. "It's no issue, just watch where your going next time. " he explains, I look at him, he has black hair and oddly red eyes but I ignore it, "I'm Valerie by the way" *I say cheerfully putting my hand out. "Nolan." He says confused shaking my hand. "So nice to meet you Nolan! " I grin. " nice to meet you too Valerie " he giggles. "Shoot I'm gonna be late, see you later Valerie" he says rushed,he basically ran away but i was gonna be late too! I walk into class shyly, "why are you late? " my teacher says calmly, thats Ms.May she's so sweet, "I'm so sorry my locker wouldn't open!! " I say panicking."you don't even have anything with you" she explains confused."yea I gave up after a bit." I say in defeat. "It's ok just go sit down. " Ms. May says forgiving me. I go and sit in my seat as Ms. May continues talking. After class, when I'm leaving, I pass Carly in the hallway "HAHA, what are you wearing! " Carly laughs pointing at me. "Leave me alone Carly. " I mumble. "And why would I do that,freak!" She chuckles. I go to walk away listening to her call me all types of slurs. After walking far enough away I hear a familiar voice "Hey val!" Brielle calls out as I pass by. "Hey." I say back not so cheerfully. "Hey,Valerie was it?" Nolan says stopping in front of me. "Mhm." I nod, I feel my face burning up for some reason. "Hey your a bit red, are you sick? " Nolan asks concerned. " ya, ya,I'm fine" I say a bit rushed. "See you later! " I rush off.
