Who was it?

After Lilly was done with her smoothie, we hopped down from the small bamboo chairs. Then as a group we were walking on the smooth sand. ''So your saying..if I have this pretty necklace on and I can be both human and mermaid both at the same time?'' I asked, Well hoping for a yes. ''Yes, when you touch the water you become a mermaid when you get out your a human like me.'' Lilly said thinking about her doing the same thing.

''So how do we get home?'' Austin said patiently waiting for an answer. There was a long pause between all three of us.''Hey'' Lilly said while she was looking down at the water. ''At my school I have some books......... that we can read that could help..'' she said slower then before. ''But how?'' I asked well we all go to my school..... read some books in the fish library.. then maybe theirs something there that can help all of us to go home!'' Lilly said finally was happy as her normal self. 

Then we went walking down the beach when we heard the sound of not our footsteps, just louder and louder wright behind us.''Hey what is that sound..''Austin finally said when he turned around and someone was there clothed in black, knocking Austin out with a rock leaving a mark on his head.Then the person started running down the beach with Austin in his hands. I thought it was like a shark attack when all this just happened.

 Me and Lilly's hearts stopped pumping. For a long while, or it seemed a long while. ''Austin are you ok'' Lilly said running after the man who has caring him across the beach. I just started running after him to. It was very hard because running on sand is the last I can do. Then the man turned then we turned I fell, then Lilly came to help. We both looked up and he was gone in the forest. Leaving nothing behind. ''No..'' I said sadly but crying ''I will find you.. if thats the last thing I do.'' Then my voice drifted through my mind like a bird headed forward and leaving you for a long time. And never again coming back.
