3rd Pov Still
It's been a few days since Sara ran from the Cullen's house. She's now in Spain with Rebecca, Melissa, John, and Aaron who are currently taking her to the Volturi, explaining the plan to her, knowing he won't be able to read her mind and figure it out. While They're doing that, the Cullens arrive in Spain thanks to one of Alice's visions. "Spain? The Volturi is here." Carlisle says.
"You don't think that she's going to them, do you?" Emmett asks.
"Maybe. We don't know what her and her old friends talked about." Carlisle says then he looks over to Edward who staring ahead of them, reading people's minds to try and find Sara. "Edward." Carlisle nudges Edward which breaks his trans so Edward looks at him.
"She's with 4 people. Vampires like us." Edward informs the others, whispering the last part so other people walking around them, don't hear.
"Her old friends?" Rose asks.
"Yeah." Edward answers, looking ahead of them again. Suddenly Alice gasps so everyone looks at her.
"Alice?" Jasper asks her as she comes back from her vision. Alice looks at Edward who reads her mind only for his eyes to widen.
"Edward?" Esme asks, but Edward quickly turns away from them and starts running with his Vampire speed, not caring if anyone sees him. Everyone watches as he runs before looking back at Alice.
"What did you see?" Carlisle asks Alice who looks at him.
"They are going to betray her."
"Who?" Rose asks.
"Her old friends." Alice answers so they all share looks with each other before quickly running after Edward, but with a normal speed.
With Sara and the other four, they arrive at the building that the Volturi are in. "Here we are." Rebecca says with a smirk.
"Then let's get this over with." Sara says, going to open the door, but Aaron grabs her hand that she quickly pulls away.
"Remember the plan." Aaron tells her so she rolls her eyes.
"Just shut up and let's get this over with already so I can go back to never seeing any of you again." Sara says then she opens the door and they head inside. The four of them lead Sara towards the Volturi with her looking around a little bit. She then starts to get an uneasy feeling in her gut as they get to the double doors that lead into the Volturi.
"Ready?" Melissa asks.
"Ready as I'll ever be." Sara mutters. John and Aaron then open the doors so Sara walks in with the girl right behind her and the boys following shortly after.
"Aw. A visitor." Aro says as he puts his book down, turning to them as the doors close behind them. "Visitors." He corrects with a smirk that makes Sara want to punch him.
"What are you 5 doing here?" Caius asks them.
"We want to present you with a gift." John says so Sara looks at him in confusion.
"A gift? What kind of gift?" Marcus asks.
"A powerful one." Aaron answers, kicking the back of Sara's knees so she falls to the floor, on her knees.
"What are you guys doing?" Sara asks them so they all smirk. Sara tries to get back up from the floor, but John and Aaron each grab one of her arms, pushing down on her shoulder to keep her on her knees.
"I've waited a long time for this day." Aro says as he starts to walk towards Sara who struggles to get free.
"What do you want with me?" Aro answers as he gets to them.
"I want your gift. They've told me just how wonderful and powerful it is." Sara looks to the others in disbelief with anger starting to fill her.
"You betrayed me. Again." Sara says.
"Don't get mad at them. I gave them an offer they could not refuse." Aro says so Sara looks back at him.
"And what's that? My dead body or money?" He shakes his head.
"They bring you here to me and they can join the Volturi."
"What do you want with me?"
"I want you to join us. Join the Volturi and stand at my side as we rule the over ever vampire ever."
"You want my gift to join your side so you'll be more powerful. But news flash, I'd never join your stupid little club." Sara spits in Aro's face. He wipes his face with a chuckle then he looks at John and Aaron with a serious expression.
"She doesn't want to join then take care of her. And don't make a mess this time." Aro turns away as both guys put more pressure on Sara's arms so she starts to scream in pain. They're about to break her arms off, but Edward suddenly comes running in, stopping as he enters the room.
"Edward Cullen." Aro says as he looks at him with Marcus and Caius getting up from their seats.
"What are you doing here? Why are you interrupting a private meeting?" Caius asks Edward as Sara looks at him, shocked. He found her. He came for her.
"You can't kill her." Edward says.
"And why is that?" Caius asks.
"He's in love." Marcus says so everyone looks at him. "They are in love." Marcus adds. Everyone looks at Edward.
"I won't let you kill her." Edward says.
"I'm sorry, but she refused to join so it's her choice." Aro says so Edward is about to go to help Sara, but suddenly he doubles over in pain. Sara quickly looks around the room only to see a girl who looks younger than her and Edward, looking directly at Edward with a sick look in her eyes.
"No! Stop!" Sara shouts as she struggles against John and Aaron's grips. Edward falls to the floor, in pain which fuels Sara with anger. "I said STOP!" Sara shouts with John and Aaron suddenly blasted back from her like a force field pushed them back. Sarah doesn't think and quickly gets up from the floor, super speeding to Edward. She touches him which causes him to look up at her as all of the pain suddenly disappears.
"Remarkable. Even more powerful than they told us." Aro says as Sara helps Edward us, holding his hand and protecting him from Jane's and anyone else's powers.
"I didn't know you could do that. I didn't know you could shield someone else too." Edward whispers so Sara looks up at him as Rebecca and Melissa help John and Aaron up from the floor.
"Neither did I." Sara says then the both of them look back at the Volturi, still holding hands. "You are going to let us go and never bother us again or I'll take this whole place down." Aro, Caius, and Marcus look at each other with smirks, Aro and Caius chuckling before looking back at Edward and Sara.
"You really think you have the upper hand here? That you are more powerful than us, the Volturi?" Caius asks her.
"I'm willing to find out." Sara answers.
"I beg to differ." Aro says then suddenly both Edward and Sara here a familiar voice.
"Hey! Let me go!" Both Edward's and Sara's eyes widen when they see who is brought into the room.
