That day was supposed to be my big day. Everyone thought homecoming was a bust and didn't matter but for me, it was different. I loved homecoming because this was the one day everyone had agreed on something. My coach had been preparing me for this day. She really wanted it to be perfect. I watched from the stage as students from all grades filed in the auditorium. I was known as the popular, pretty, cheer captain. I always had to uphold my name, especially for my coach who wanted me to succeed. That day was the day people would remember my name forever. As we had filed out onto the floor of the auditorium, my nerves faded away. This was my home. The place I could go when know won else listened or understood. I took pride in being the cheer captain. When the music for our routine started, the students all cheered. My first stunt was easy. It felt like water flowing down a river. It was mean't to be, was the perfect way to describe it. We had nailed everything. Now the nerves came along towards the ending when it was time for my big stunt. As I approaching my shining moment all I heard was, "Taylor! Taylor! Taylor!" As I ran to do my stunt my leg twisted, but that was nothing I hadn't encountered before. I went to finish off, when I flipped back and landed on my head.
