....So, welcome to Children of Fire and Sun: Part One, a new novel. It is a mixture of dark/high fantasy story set in an alternate world called 'Namiona.' It primarily follows our morally grey FMC Princess Maysa Memor and our princely philosopher MMC Crown Prince Remus Desher as they navigate the world they've known so far crumble in front of their eyes. And before you proceed any further, know that this is a medium paced story.
Is this novel inspired quite a bit by the ASOIAF series written by George R. R. Martin? Yes. Is our MMC inspired by Rhaegar Targaryen? Again, yes. Gods know how much I am in love with him. So, I don't know, it is a risky journey upon which I am venturing on.
A little note on the timeline: The timeline is divided into two parts - BU (Before Unification) and AU (After Unification). This novella takes place in 1032 AU, meaning it is set a thousand and thirty-two years after the Unification. The significance of this system will be discussed in detail within the narrative itself.
