It was currently 8:00 a.m on 31, August, meaning Wonyoung's birthday. Now, when you say the word birthday, these emoji's come to mind: 🎉🎂🎁🎊. And those were the emoji's that came to Wonyoung's mind when she woke up. The fact that she stayed up until midnight, waiting for a call or at least a text, from her friends, did not help. She was happy that she got a very enthusiastic call from her parents on exactly 11:59, but she had wanted them to come over, since at least they remembered that it was her birthday. But when she asked, they started to act all weird.
"Oh well, guess I'll be alone on my birthday, then." She knew her members would be back by today, but she didn't feel great, since it was already 8:00 and she hadn't got ONE call. She'd expected sunghoon to call her, at least.
Wonyoung shooed all the paranoid thoughts away. "I'm acting like a spoiled brat. They're going to call. I know they are." She decided to get over her mid-existential crisis and get out of bed and start practising. She took a shower, ate breakfast, worked out and practiced till it was 3:00.
By this time, she was pretty sure she wasn't getting any calls. She was also, getting pretty worried about her members. They were supposed to reach 2 hours before, but she was too mad at them to leave a call. She was the one supposed to be getting the calls, not them (lmao, it's giving ✨spoiled brat✨) But now, she'd gotten over it, and was ready to check on them.
She picked up her phone and dialled yujin's number. It rang for an awful lot of time, and wonyoung was about to hang up, when her unnie finally picked up. ——— Yujin: Hang on, will you?!?! Won: Um, what? Yujin: Oh, sorry. I didn't say that to you, wony. Just, uh, just Leeseo. Won: Oh, um, ok. When are you guys getting here? It's been two hours already. Are you ok? Yujin: Yeah, we're fine. We'll be a little late. Won: How late? Yujin: Five... something. Won: Wow, er, ok. Yujin: Is that it? I'm not getting any younger in here. Won: Did you forget what day it is today? ——— Wonyoung had had enough, and she was not going to wait till her unnie FINALLY wishes her. ——— Yujin: It's August 31st, you idiot. Won: Yeah, I know that. What other day is it? Yujin: I don't know, uh, oh! Eat outside day, which I have already done. Won: Eat outside day, right. Well, I better go eat outside, then. Yujin: Okay? Have fun, I guess. ——— Eat outside day, my ass. Guess Yujin didn't remember her birthday after all, even with that huge ass calendar she carries around everywhere. Just then, there was a loud bang on yujins side of the phone, and Wonyoung flinched. ——— Won: What the hell was that?! Yujin: Nothing, just rei and liz being as annoying as ever *awkward laugh* Won: Do I even want to know the truth? Yujin: Trust me, you don't. Won: Whatever, bye. ——— I rolled my eyes as unnie hung up.
*At exactly 4:30 pm* I didn't realise that I had fallen asleep till I got a call from sunghoon. I picked up the call excitedly. ——— Hoon: Won? We have a problem. Won: Let me guess. You caused it? Hoon: No, not this time. I'll pick you up at six. Also, dress to impress. ——— I was going to let out a sarcastic comment but then he hung up. Rude. I got up as I wondered what to wear. He said dress to impress, so I just picked a sage green mermaid dress and wore light makeup. Little did I know, I was wrong about everything.
