2.4 - beginning of tour

"For this next song, I'm bringing out someone special." I say into the microphone.

It was the first night of the American tour I'm doing and I was excited.

Tom, Nora, Josh, Hunter, and Carter are somewhere in the crowd. Iris and Rachel are both backstage.

I could tell everyone was cheering, even through my ear piece.

"You know her as Lucy Gray, I know her as one of my closest friends Rachel Zegler!" I looked behind me to see her running onto the stage.

The two of us hugged each other happily. The song started playing so the two of us started singing.

She didn't seem nervous at all which is crazy. You can just tell she owns this shit.

Performing with her was great. "Prisoner, Prisoner. Locked up can't get you off my mind, off my mind." We sing.

Everyone in the crowd seemed to enjoy the two of us performing. I know I was extremely happy to be performing with her.

Hell I was happy to be performing in general. I truly forgot how much I missed doing this.

When the song sadly ended, I made sure to make everyone cheer for her.

She waved to the crowd and walked off the stage. I continued the show, Iris coming up with me to do our song together.

The whole concert, was truly amazing. I loved the feeling of having the lights on me and having people sing with me to the songs I wrote.

When the concert ended, I went backstage. I sat on the couch knowing I needed to sit down for the moment.

It wasn't even a full minute until I heard all of my friends come in here to talk to me.

Tom was walking behind them. I was bombarded with everyone telling me how great the concert was.

They were telling me how great I sounded and looked up there.

Iris and Rachel then started talking about how fun it was being up there.

Rachel said it was her first time actually performing with a crowd that big.

She did say she was nervous at first but once she felt comfortable after a few seconds.

It was nice seeing everyone enjoying themselves talk about the concert.

Tom came over and sat next to me. "So where are you going next on your tour?" Tom asked as I looked at him.

"Boston." I say looking at him. He was coming with me on the tour so I was very happy about it.

It was going to be nice to be spending it with him. "I can't wait to tour everything with you, love." He boasted.

I just smiled while holding his hand. I was so happy that everyone got to come out tonight.

I was going to miss them for the next few months but at least I get to spend the time with Tom.

I couldn't do it without his support. He's the best thing to happen in my life.

I couldn't wait to see what our future had in store for us.
