𝑺𝑬𝑳𝑬𝑵𝑬

It's evening and I honestly wish I could sleep the evening away but I can't my Mom's last words hang over my head like a knife.

The Talk.

I dreaded it but it was unavoidable.
I took a shower, got dressed, and headed downstairs into the kitchen where I knew they would both be.

" Great timing. "

Mom says as I enter the kitchen. My mouth waters as I take in the rich scent of Mutton curry. Mutton curry always goes well with some garlic flatbread

My favorite.

" It smells good in here "

I commented.

Mom smiles and says,

" Are you hungry? "

" Starved. I feel like I haven't eaten all day. "

I say with a stretch.

Mom serves me a huge plate with a smile. And then she serves Dad. When she was done she said,

" You start school on Monday. "

So this was the talk. I had no aversion to school and it would be nice to get out of the house and away from my parents ever so prying eyes. Maybe Caleb would be in the same school as me.

" Okay. "

I say around a mouthful of Mutton.

" Another thing, there would be a few werewolves at your school. "

Mom says.

I nod and she continues.

"There is a pack not too far from here. The Night Sade Pack. It is run by the Alpha King and the Luna of Lunas."

" Royal Wolves. "

I say in awe.

Mom nods.

I was about to say something else when Dad cut in.

" We got you a small present. "

Dad says with a smile.

" A present? "

I asked curious. Dad nods.

" Yes. "

I say, but then I pause.

" What is it? "

I asked.

" It's a scooter.  "

Dad says finally.

I frown.

" I was more hoping for something like a car "

I say trying not to be ungrateful.

After our evening we decided to watch a movie.

The Complete Twilight Saga.

It's ironic because it's about vampires and werewolves.

We sat there and watched the entire thing I was all the way team Edward. He made more since. Who wouldn't want forever with the person they love?

After the long movie. I went upstairs, took a shower, and got dressed in my PJs.
