Set in the future, this dystopia follows Ketsia. A 17 year old girl who, like any other girl, can't wait to meet her mate. But after a month of waiting, she slowly starts to fall in love with Jayce, her childhood friend, and starts to become skeptical of the system that The Ones have set in place. She knows for sure he isn't her mate because their times have never matched up and their Marks could never be more different. They're so caught up in their emotions and everything to even think about the consequences it might bring. But, Jayce and Ketsia can't help but wonder, what's going to happen when the time runs out and they're still together? How will their future Mates feel if they find out that the one they are supposed to be with is in love with somebody else? The fact that Ketsia and Jayce are in love is such a taboo thing that The Ones may react horribly and the consequences could be disastrous.

There is a group of 5 in this story. They get markings on their bodies that signify something, whether it be a big change coming, a new person, or a change in view. They don't know eachother.. or maybe they do.

The community is divided up among what marks we have, as unfair as it is our council thinks it's what's best for this community to stay intact. They were wrong, these marks separated us.

Kiba goes to his grandmothers house for a trip but can't go unless someone goes with him, so he brings Hinata along. But at the house not only does she get Lila, but she also becomes part of his clan by his grandmother! Once back at the leaf village, Hinata has a hard time adapting to her new dog like senses that she gains as being part of the clan, not to mention she's been kicked out of the Hyuuga compound! Kiba, actually liking the fact that he's not the only one from his clan here anymore, besides his mother and sister, decides to help her and she moves in with him and his mom. As she struggles to adapt and he tries to help will the new bond they share bring them to be more than just a teammate or friend in each others eyes or only make matters worse?

Werewolfs have come out of hiding and now rule over all lands. Ever since then there have been marks on human babies classifying who they will be mates with. The position of your mate will decide your marks color and size. If they are omega your mark will be half your arm and a dusty rose color. If they are regular they will cover both arms and be the color of the run rise. If they are a beta or alpha it will cover your chest and arms with the color of sun set. Now the Alpha kings mark or any royal will cover arms,chest and back and be the color of midnight. Each year the royals will go to all lands in search of their mate, and every year I hide. I have the mark of an Alpha king. This year the king is furious because I've hidden so well but for each day this year, a poor soul will be taken and killed. I've tried to escape my fate but no one can... _____________________ Ok so this is my first book and I'm sorry the description sucks but I really hope you enjoy! Oh and the updates will be slow.

Soooo......I'm crap at descriptions, and this isn't actually a coherent story with a plot yet, but I really wanted to post it anyways. It's a scene that just popped into my head today, based off an idea I've had bouncing around for a while, where witches have spells tattooed onto their bodies so that they can be cast instantaneously. It isn't easy to use them, though, so very few people have them. This particular scene is a sort of fluffy/maybe not completely coherent, where a boy realizes that the girl he loves is hiding more than he could have expected. If anyone actually reads this I will be so shocked, but feedback would be appreciated. (Both characters do have names, I just didn't feel like hers worked if I introduced it here.) I've got some ideas for the rest of (and beginning) of this story, and have a few more ideas bouncing around concerning this world of mine, and hope to revisit it pretty soon!

Or so my family thinks I grew up in a world where a few minutes after you were born you were given to your parents and a "mark" would appear on you some see it as a birth mark but it is also your first tattoo as you change and grow up you get distinctive tattoos they show you who you will become,what you could accomplish and who you will be as a person you get one on your 16th birthday because you are maturing and you have a clearer mind set in what you want to do when your older, your plans for the future and who you will become etc.

A NaNoWriMo novel inspired by Plato's Republic. Basically there are three social classes in this world - once you get separated into your class at the age of four there's no turning back. Caerlynn is a painter who somehow ends up working for the king himself because she knows things that she shouldn't. Alex is a messenger for the new kingdom and he's on official business - there is a strange army coming their way and the two kingdoms must work together. But he soon finds that the kingdom of Old Veridet needs more from him than just a message.
