In shock the first thing I did was call Justin. Not even 911 or something but Justin! Justin came while someone else called 911. As the ambulance pulled up Dylan whispered to me to come in the ambulance with him. As I was about to go in the ambulance and as I was about to go in, Dylan's mom and older brother pulled up. "Where is my baby?" Dylan's mom screamed pushing me out of the way. "Mom I'm fine let me be with Jayden" Dylan said giving me a look. This look wasn't your ordinary look from him. This was a "hi I'm Dylan and I like you" look. This was the look I have been waiting for since junior high. We jumped into the back of the ambulance. He reached out to hold my hand. I whispered in his ear "You'll be okay, I promise you". He smiled at me in pain. On the way to the hospital I saw a different side of Dylan. Not the chill Dylan, not the no care in the world Dylan. This Dylan was actually scared of what was gonna happen. I saw it in his eyes. "Jayden" he whispered to me. I came closer. "Do you think I'm going to die in this ambulance?" I got up and screamed at him "YOU ARE NOT GONNA DIE. DYLAN DREW KNIGHT YOU ARE NOT GONNA DIE!" As I screamed that, I saw that he had a lot of blood coming from his head. I screamed at the ambulance driver, "DRIVE FASTER HE'S BLEEDING A LOT NOW! TURN ON YOUR LIGHTS SOMETHING PLEASE!" I never saw the fear in Dylan's face like how it was in the ambulance after I screamed that. I was a nervous reck and couldn't sit down. The driver drove faster and turned on his lights like I suggested. After 10 minutes we got to the hospital they rushed him out while I ran after. The nurses held me back asking what happened but I broke into tears. These were actual tears rolling down my face. I was speechless I couldn't even talk I just quietly cried watching him looking in the little window in the door. Him on the stretcher. Liz, Morgan and Justin came in with Dylan's mom and brother. She was less nervous then me or didn't show it at all. They let us come in one or two at a time first I let Dylan's mom and brother go then Liz and Morgan then Justin came with me. I stood out of the room and let Justin talk to him first. Justin asked Dylan "How do you feel man, this is what you get for trying to be cool with Jayden" laughing back at him Dylan said "Well you know I need to keep up with Jayden. How she got all scared in the ambulance and how nervous she was. That made me less nervous just looking at her makes me feel some way I can't explain." I sat outside the room with a big smile on my face. "Well Jayden is right outside the room might as well tell her that yourself man" Justin said running out of the room knowing that Dylan would hit him or throw something at him. I walked in still smiling with my head down. I walked over to his bed side. "So you heard all of that" Dylan asked me. "Uh yeah but it was uh cute" I couldn't get the words out of my mouth. I hated that about me. I was always so nervous to talk one on one with him. "Well I guess you can say I really like you." He said not looking at me. "Well I like you too..." I said as my face got so red. I always get red when I talk to people that I really like. After a week, Dylan was ready to come home. We had a surprise party for Dylan when he came back. After the party, we started to plan the best summer ever. "This summer is gonna be the best summer ever" Liz said looking at all of us. "Of course we are gonna make it the best summer we ever had!" Morgan said back to Liz. "We should go on a road trip!" "OMG that'd be so fun! We'll rent out an old R.V!" Justin said back to Morgan and Liz. Me and Dylan sat there looking at each other. "Guys, guys... HELLO LOVE BIRDS GET BACK TO THE REAL WORLD!" Liz yelled at us. "Yeah yeah what's up Liz." Dylan said hugging me, holding me closer to him. "Yeah we'll all go that'd be fun." I said nose to nose with Dylan. "Blah I'm gonna throw up stop being so lovey lovey" Justin said laughing. We all laughed and went to find an R.V.
