There are 10 gems that we know of. Steven,garnet,rose,pearl,amethyst,ruby,sapphire,lapis,peridot,and the last one is jasper. In the episode "jail break" jasper mentioned "YELLOW DIAMOND". So far we have not seen yellow diamond but heard of him/her. Gems have weapons. Steven has a shield and a bubble that protects him, garnet has gauntlets she can also shoot them,pearl has a staff that can also shoot lasers,amethyst has a whip,lapis can control water and she has water wings, and jasper has a helmet. Gems can bubble things.
