[System Analysis has been completed...
..
.
Error detected!] The system interface started to flash red as strings of code appeared onto the screen, overlapping on each other that made Ophelia dizzy as she stared.

Alarm bells started to blare in Ophelia's mind when she saw Archie freeze up and stiffen as if he could understand the series of codes— That he probably did understand, which made Ophelia feel apprehensive.

Especially when Archie looked embarrassed and apologetic, as well as refusing to look at her. Ophelia crossed her arms as she stared at the back of his head.

"What did it mean by error detected? hm archie?" She narrowed her eyes as her feet started to tap impatiently, waiting for an answer to the alarming operation that happened on the system interface.

Unbeknownst to her knowledge she was putting spiritual pressure onto Archie, causing him to stiffen up more as Ophelia wasnt supposed to be able to use such ability. As her soul wasnt from an apocalyptic world like the world she had just been in,he felt aggrieved at being the one to tell the news instead of the main system and bare the brunt of her anger, especially now when it felt like a big predator was looking at him like he was prey.

[H-host It seems that because of an error appeared when you started the assessment a-and...] Archie gulped as he felt a cold sweat on the back of his neck as the spiritual pressure Ophelia emitted weighed down on him.

The edge of Ophelia's lips twitched as she saw his reaction, it wasn't like she's going to eat him for the bad news. "So?" She raised her eyebrow as she waited impatiently for the rest of his explaination.

[Becauseoftheerroryouwentintotheassessmentwithoutyourpriormemories, makingyouembodythepreviousownerofthebody] Archie rapidly explained in one breath before panting, looking down on the ground as he fiddled with his sleeves nervously.

"Archie..." Ophelia's eyes twitched as she found the situation funny and a bit exasperated at how Archie acted as if she was going to yell at him; Crouching down to be on the same eye level as him, Ophelia reached her hand out to take his into her own. Patting his hand soothingly as she use to for eva, anytime she was nervous to say something as a child, making Archie raise his head in surprise as Ophelia met his gaze full of childlike innocence.

"I'm not going to eat you okay? now stop worrying and tell me whats wrong,hm?" Ophelia couldn't help soften as she soothed him, seeing eva in this little boy that called itself her system.

Slowly Archie felt the spiritual pressure that pressed down on him receded back into Ophelia when she tried to sooth him, making him sigh in relief which Ophelia took as him calming down, asking him again to repeat what he said.

Archie who finally didnt feel like he wasn't being pressed down anymore looked at his host that was waiting for him to speak. [The main system found a problem while reviewing the records of your assessment, They found that because of a bug caused by a major event that happened the same time of your assessment...]

Archie paused for a moment to peek at Ophelia's reaction, seeing that she was still waiting patiently for him to tell her the news. He built up the courage to continue speaking [You lost the memories that you had, your memories before you went into that world for the assessment]

He said all that in one breath as he closed his eyes, readying himself for Ophelia to yell, scream, or scold him.But....All he heard was silence, opening one of his eyes to look at Ophelia and seeing that she just looked at him with a blank expression, making him open both of his eyes to stare at her with confusion.

[A-are...Are you not angry, host?] Archie asked hesitantly, anxiously fiddling with his fingers; Only to see her smile as if the question was funny to her, well it was funny to the current Ophelia that stood infront of him.

"Why would i be angry?" She didn't have any memory of the past life that she had. She was Ophelia Amana, older sister of Eva Amana, and captain of Base A's top ability team.

[Because... we breached our contract with you...] Archie started to speak before being cut off by Ophelia rubbing the top of his head. "That contract was to the Ophelia before me, i am no longer her. I dont have the same wants as her"

Archie stood there silently before looking down on the ground, gripping onto the edge of his shirt. [but...that means i have to unbind from you]

"Is there a problem with that?" Ophelia tilted her head, smiling slightly as she stared at him.

[well there is, because in normal circumstances when a host unbinds with a system then the host's soul would be obliterated]

[But in your situation...you can choose to unbind with me and be reincarnated or continue to be my host with a new contract, as the assessment results are all yours and not to well...your past self]

Archie told Ophelia the options which made Ophelia felt funny at the clear longing that he didn't try to hide when he put the option that she could continue to be with him. Ophelia stood up,crossing her arms and turning around as she sighed before she spoke.

"Hmmm...well i dont really have any desire to live forever like my predecessor so-"

[Wait! you can go back to your world!] Archie quickly cut her off in a panic, because Archie was facing her back he couldn't see the small smile that was on Ophelia's lips.

'Gotcha!' Wiping off the smile off her face before turning around excitedly, holding Archie's tiny hands in hers as she stared at him 'hopefully'.

"Really!? i can go back to my world and see my sister again?" Ophelia urged him to answer her quickly, not letting him have time to think clearly that he was already being led into exactly what Ophelia wanted.

[Yes host! Since the assessment results was solely on your efforts and no part of it is from your predecessor, then your qualified to make a new contract]

[The Old Ophelia that signed with us wanted to continue living as herself by hopping through worlds and giving people or cannon fodders second chances in a better life than the life they used to live due to the main character's unjust actions]

[But since she is gone and you are here, you have the right to sign a new contract. It would be similar to your predecessor's contract in terms of giving people second chances, but you can choose what you get in exchange] Archie explained as he pulled out a new system screen out of thin air, holding up the screen to show the results of her assessment.

[ Ophelia Amana (Doomsday world: B3-T40)
Rank: Newbie
Duration of Assessment: 5 years (Class S)
Points: 540,678
- Class S people changed: 3
- Class A people changed: 20
- Class B people changed: 231
- ....
- Class F people changed: 1,519
Overall assessment: Tier B host. ]

'?' A big question mark came up in Ophelia's mind seeing the points and the so called changed people, it maybe due to the fact that Archie and ophelia had a link to the mind or most probably cause Ophelia didn't hide her confusion on her face as Archie explained to her in a timely manner.

[Host the points can be obtained by changing a person's fate from its original one, the more important that person is to the plot of the world then the higher their class is which results to more points! Class S people give up to 100,000 points in one go while the lowest Class F people only give 1 point out.]

[You can use the points in the system shop for certain items to help the host in missions or to upgrade/unlock features that the system has] Archie chattered away, holding onto Ophelia's arm as he pointed to the system interface that showed different icons which was mostly locked except for inventory and shop.

Ophelia pressed onto the shop and was greeted by multiple items that came from ancient times, cultivation and interstellar worlds, as well as other items from worlds that Ophelia didnt recognize. All the items were categorized through their uses like Food, weaponry, medicine, so on and so on.

Ophelia scrolled through all the category of items, seeing the dazzling items that would be useful when she was still fighting those horrid zombies in her world aswell as their dazzling prices, especially the items from cultivation and interstellar worlds.

"This is really useful, but allot of them are really expensive" Ophelia tapped on the 3d image of a red sword that came from an cultivation world, thinking that it would be a good weapon for her sister as the description explained that the sword could withstand extremely high temperatures without melting and compatible with fire users.

[Don't worry host! the system will be giving daily missions and series of missions where you can easily accumulate points!] Archie happily explained, bouncing on his heels as he watched Ophelia scroll through the store to familiarize herself.

[So host..., are you going to sign a new contract with me?] Archie looked expectantly to Ophelia, making her smile as she nodded to him. Patting his head before speaking.

"Of course, since you did say i am able to go back to my world" After speaking she had a troubled expression on her face, "But..." sighing slightly as she cupped her cheek.

[Is there a problem host?] Archie asked, fiddling with his fingers nervously. "Well i dont want to hop from world to world like my predecessor which you said was the end of her deal with you. I only want to go back to my world as of now "

[Ah! You dont have to worry about that host! I have a contract that may suit your wants] He answered excitedly, pulling out a file from within his long sleeves before passing it onto Ophelia's hands.

Opening the file to carefully read it's contents Ophelia noticed a few things that stood out, first she would enter her world a year before the apocalypse (as an apology from the main system), second is that there is a chance a transmigrator will appear in her world that she may have to eliminate due to them messing up the carefully kept balance in that world, and third they(main system) we're allowed to punish her for any breach on the contract.

The word transmigrator took Ophelia's interest especially the following order to eliminate them essentially out of existence and that in a literal sense. "Archie what is this about?" pointing it out on the contract.

[Oh! some transmigrators take over bodies that a soul hasn't permitted to be used, which makes the original owner's soul accumulate resentment that could turn into a disaster for the world or the transmigrator destroys the balance of the world before we can easily eliminate them...so we have some of our host to eliminate them before they destroy the worlds]

[The reward for these missions are very high! The minimum reward are in billions!] Archie had a hologram in his hands before squishing it into a pop of confetti when he clapped happily like he was showing how beneficial doing those missions are.

If Ophelia didn't experience the apocalypse she would've shuddered at the lack of hesitation on destroying a person out of existence, but Ophelia only found it reasonable. Only by removing every torn in a rose would ensure you could hold its beauty without trouble.

"I see...then i agree to the contract, where do i sign?" Ophelia asked turning to look at archie, taking the chance to put the deal in the bag before it slipped away.

[Just press your thumbprint here host] Archie pointed on a blank space on the middle of the contract, with having read everything and being satisfied with the contents of the contract Ophelia pressed her thumb onto the space with a hint of nervousness but also determination.

With her thumbprint imprinted onto the contract, it started to glow a dazzling light as the words started to seperate from the paper before swirling into a glowing ball that floated above their heads.

Its swirling and condensing form made Ophelia step back as she shielded her eyes, before she had the time to blink the glowing ball hurled itself to Ophelia, sinking into her chest.

"You..." Ophelia's eyes widen as she stared at Archie's smiling face, her vision blurring into darkness as the glowing ball dissipated in her chest and into her soul, consciousness leaving her before tranporting her back into her world in a flash of light.

[Welcome home, host!]
