With the exam in hand, Yeonjun knocked on the door of Beomgyu and Soobin's room. The spot where he had been gripping the paper while running across the campus was damp, but he had been careful not to smudge the big red B at the top of the page. Nervousness made him slightly jittery as he waited by the door.

"It's open!" Soobin shouted.

Yeonjun pushed the door open and looked for Beomgyu.

"Hey, man," Soobin said. "What's up? Weren't we supposed to hang out this afternoon?"

Yeonjun exhaled forcefully.

"He's not here."

"Who? Beomgyu? Nah, he might be in class. Or working. Are you okay?"

"Damn right!" Yeonjun waved the paper in the air. "I got a B on the statistics exam thanks to him. I have to find him. See you later, man." He turned and ran out. He jogged to the tutoring center, hoping to find Beomgyu there. He was out of breath and slightly sweaty when he arrived, but he couldn't wait to see him. Yeonjun leaned against the door, his stomach twisting as he saw Beomgyu. He was working with a student while fiddling with his cube under the table. That sight was so quintessentially Beomgyu, it made Yeonjun's heart flutter.

He took a seat and waited for Beomgyu to finish with his pupil. Beomgyu glanced at him briefly and smiled. They hadn't seen each other since the tutoring session four days ago. God, in the past few days, Yeonjun could barely concentrate on anything other than the image of Beomgyu taking off his pants. He had never felt so excited so quickly as when Beomgyu unzipped his trousers. And now, Yeonjun was here to claim his kiss. He could touch Beomgyu for real. If only the chatterbox sitting in his place would leave!

Yeonjun got what he wanted ten minutes later. As soon as the guy walked away from Beomgyu's desk, Yeonjun approached and dropped his exam on the table.

"That explains the ear-to-ear smile. Congratulations!"

"You know what that means, right?"

Beomgyu tried to hide his smile, but he wasn't successful.

"That you won't need my services anymore?"

Yeonjun shook his head.

"Try again." Beomgyu leaned forward and lowered his voice.

"Let me tell Jongho I'm taking a break. Then we can go out."

Yeonjun's body vibrated with anticipation as he followed him outside. Beomgyu seemed to be in a good mood. Had he been looking forward to the kiss as much as Yeonjun had?

"Well..." Beomgyu said. "Are you happy with the exam result?"

Yeonjun smiled and nodded.

"More than you think."

"And are you here to make me fulfill my promise?"

"Yes. If you still want to."

Beomgyu leaned against the wall.

"Go ahead."

"Here? Right here?" Yeonjun looked both ways down the hallway, seeing nothing but some students milling about.

"It's fine." Beomgyu pushed away from the wall. "Lead the way. But I only have a few minutes, then I have to go back."

"Instead, would you meet me later tonight? When you have more time?"

Beomgyu shook his head.

"No, I have a lot to do afterward."

"Okay, let's go there," Yeonjun said, nodding toward the bathroom.

Beomgyu headed to the restroom, letting Yeonjun follow like a lost puppy. Once inside, Beomgyu opened the door of one of the stalls and gestured for Yeonjun to enter. It wasn't a remotely romantic setting, but at least they were alone. Standing very close to each other.

Beomgyu looked at Yeonjun expectantly. Would it be okay for Yeonjun to touch him? He wanted to, but he didn't know the boundaries, so he simply leaned in and pressed his lips against Beomgyu's. A dizzying warmth surged through his gut, and he took Beomgyu by the waist to steady himself. Beomgyu stroked his biceps, and he gently squeezed his arms. So maybe Beomgyu did like his muscles after all. God, he wanted to press his body against Beomgyu's. He wanted to feel those hands on every inch of his body. But it wouldn't be right to take more without asking. It seemed like Beomgyu was enjoying it too. Their lips moved softly but confidently against each other's. More. He wanted more.

Beomgyu broke the kiss and pushed him away.

"That was..." he whispered in a husky voice.

"Good?" Beomgyu smiled and nodded.

"Can I see you later?"

Beomgyu avoided his eyes and licked his lips.

"Yeonjun... I don't think that's a good idea. You're a nice guy and all, but... I don't think it will work. I really don't have time to get involved with anyone, and... you and I are different."

"You mean I'm not smart enough."

"No. That's not what I mean. I mean you play baseball, and I play Warhammer. You like going out. I like staying in. I have the next five years of my life planned out in detail, and you're still figuring things out."

There must be something Yeonjun could say in response, but what?

"I'm sorry; I have to go." Beomgyu opened the stall and left.

Yeonjun swallowed the lump in his throat, closed his eyes, and leaned his head against the wall. What had just happened? He had been sure that Beomgyu was attracted to him. That kiss meant something, to both of them. He was sure of it. Did they like different things? That didn't mean they couldn't like each other. But how could he get the message across to Beomgyu? Yeonjun straightened his shoulders as an idea formed in his mind. A secret message might just do the trick.
