A few seconds later, Nate had already responded, agreeing to call me in a few minutes, although he wantes to check on the scream from the neighbors house and have his friend leave first. My heart pounded, my neighbors could definitely hear the scream I made... what if Nate is my neighbor too!?
A knock came from my front door and my thoughts raced, is this gonna be natewantstobattle standing in front of my doorway...? I prepared myself as I reached for the doorknob. A girl with pretty blue hair stood on the other side, "Uh, is everything okay over here? We heard a scream over here and wanted to make sure everything was okay." I nodded, she wasn't Nate, but man was she pretty.
"Yeah, I was uh... just really excited about something. I'm guessing you're my neighbor...?" I told embarrassed. She said she was just hanging out with a friend there and also added that her name was Morgan. After a few seconds of awkward silence, she went back to the house.
Almost disappointedly I closed the door and sat down at my computer chair. Waiting for Nate to call me, I started thinking, "She said it wasn't her house, it's still possible he lives there!" I felt a smile grow on my face, and my skype rang on the screen snapping me out of my thoughts.
Making sure I looked okay one more time, I answered and saw Nate's face appear on my screen. Staying calm on the exterior, I asked, "Was everything okay over there?"
"Yeah," he replied happily, "she was happy, that's all." We then continued to discuss what we were gonna play.
~ I want to clarify that Nate and Morgan don't live together, but I think Morgans awesome and pretty so she will be a cool friend person in this. - Annie ~
