chapter 8

Yami pov

The fight began between Naruto and Neji. Well, it was a wonderful fight. It ended with Naruto's victory, and then it was Satsuki's turn, but she was not there, so the fight began between Shikamaru and Temari. It ended with Shikamaru surrendering, then Kankura withdrew, thus Shino won, then Kakashi suddenly appeared with him, Satsuki was wearing beautiful clothes.

And then the fight began between Satsuki and Gaara. I was worried about Satsuki, but I had faith in her abilities. After a while of fighting, Satsuki was able to hit Gaara, which led to a sound like a monster being heard, and suddenly smoke appeared from where the Hokage and Kazekage were sitting, and I saw the ANBU heading towards them as well.  The sound and sand ninjas appeared, but I noticed something that Satsuki was not there, nor was Gaara. I realized that she was following Gaara, so I quickly set off towards the forest. While in the forest, I heard the sound of a child crying, so I immediately headed to the place of the sound. It was inside the cave. When I entered, I saw a child crying, so I went to him, and when I approached him.  He disappeared and the cave door closed. I realized it was a trap, then suddenly I heard a voice. I knew immediately who this voice belonged to, as it said, “I caught you.” It was Shine.
I told him then we will fight here
Shane said yes
I took the first step. I fired a shuriken at him. It hit him, but he hid it. Then Shine appeared again and I attacked him, but he disappeared. Shine appeared again and said, "Forget it, this won't work." Then he disappeared again, and I saw something that made me angry. It was Satsuki, but she was severely injured.  She asked for my help. I knew it was a genjutsu, but my body was paralyzed. Then I remembered what Kurenai told me about how to get rid of the genjutsu. So, with difficulty, I stabbed my foot, and the illusion disappeared. Then Shine appeared and said, "It's not bad. I told him, 'You'll regret it.'" Shine laughed, then he used a lava technique.

I was able to avoid it, but the lava was hot. Then Shane quickly fired balls of lava. I used a water shield, and the water covered my hands, forming a shield. The lava balls hit the shield. I felt pain. The water shield became hot, causing my hands to get burned. Then Shane fired other balls of lava.  It formed globules of water, which led to the appearance of strong steam. I heard Shane coughing as he said, “I hate hot fog.” I quickly got up and without Shane noticing, I used the water clone technique and hid it. Then the fog dissipated. Shane said, “Let’s end this.” Shine’s hand became lava, so I rose.  I also formed water on my hands, then Asheen released lava from his hands. I wanted to avoid it, but I realized too late that my feet were blocked from hitting the rocks, so I quickly used my hands to once again form a shield of water, and it happened like before, as the burns increased. I heard Shane laugh and said.  Don't worry, after she dies, I will make sure that the Uchiha girl will catch up. I felt angry and told him, "Don't you touch a strand of her hair." Then I formed water around my hand and started attacking him. We were holding hands. I felt pain, but I endured it. I was able to hit him with a strong blow, which led to the shattering of his helmet.  In his head, Shane stood up and said, “You will regret that.” He took out his sword and I formed a sword out of the water. We started fighting with the sword. After a while, I couldn’t bear it because of the pain in my hands, so Shane managed to hit me, so I fell to the ground. I saw Shane. He was also exhausted. Then he said, “I haven’t fought like this since.”  Time and he raised his sword and then.....drops of blood fell. They were not mine, they were Shane's. He was able to copy me, and without Shane feeling it, he stabbed him from behind. Shane said in pain. When did I tell him when the steam formed and I completed the matter? Shane surrendered. I am the winner. Shane said.  He was always angry. Then Shane started doing some seals. Then suddenly the cave started shaking. Lava began to appear. Shane said, “If I am going to die, you will come with me.” Then Shane died. The lava started to increase. I noticed a small opening in the cave, so I quickly headed out and started running until I reached the exit.  I said to myself, “I won.” Then suddenly I saw something that terrified me and surprised me. I saw a big sand monster and....a nine-tailed fox. Then they disappeared. I realized it was a raider, but whoever was fighting. I wanted to go, but I fell to the ground. I can’t walk because of exhaustion. Then my hands.  They burned and I remembered my parents. I hoped they were okay. My parents did not come to encourage me as my father was sick. Then I heard the voice of an Anbu. It was a green-haired girl who spoke. The fight was over. I told her who won. She said Konoha. Then she started treating me as much as possible. I learned from her that Naruto could defeat them.  Gaara then asked her how she knew where I was. She said, “I felt a strong wave of chakra coming from your place. I told her, ‘Thank you.’ She said, ‘It’s okay.’ After she treated me, we went to the village. It was devastated, and then the ANBU left. I remembered my father, so I quickly went home to see something that shocked me. There were two bodies. As for my father’s house, I knew.”  Who were they? My parents were stabbed. I quickly ran towards them, but there was no use. They came. I felt angry. I was weak. I could not protect them. Then I started crying until the medical ninjas came, but as I said, there was no use. After a day, there was a funeral, but I did not go. I was sad, so I stayed home.  Until I heard a voice

Satsuki pov

I saw the fight between Naruto and Gaara. I was angry. How did Naruto get this power? I needed the power for revenge. Then the fight ended. Naruto won. After Gaara left and Naruto fainted, a group of ANBU appeared to help us. Then we felt a large amount of chakra coming from a far away place. I recognized it.  On this chakra, where I said it was Yami, then an ANBU woman said, "I'm checking on the place and left." I was worried about Yami, but I fainted because of the curse mark. After a while, I woke up. I learned that the Hokage had died at the hands of Orochimaru. I heard news that made me sad. My father, Yami Tofu, did not appear.  Yami at the funeral, the Hokage and the shinobi who died. After the funeral was over, I was thinking about Yami until I heard Kakashi's voice, where he said, "Go to him. He needs someone to be by his side." I nodded and said to him, "Okay," so I headed to Yami's house. I knocked on the door. I heard Yami's voice and it seemed...  He was sad. I felt sad and told him that it was me, Yami. I remained quiet for a minute until Yami opened the door. He had traces of crying on his face. He said, “You can come in.” So I entered the house. It was clean. I noticed on the table a picture of Yami’s parents. We sat down and I told him how you feel. He said, “You know how I feel.”  I felt sad. He started crying and said, “I am weak. I did not have the strength to protect them. So I got up and without feeling his hug, I made him cry on my shoulder until he calmed down and said, ‘Thank you.’ I told him with a smile, ‘It’s okay. There are still people you can protect.’ Then we talked for a while until I left.”

Yami pov

After Satsuki left, I knew what I wanted. I wanted to protect Satsuki
